Popped in here during a business trip to Potsdam for an early(ish) breakfast. The food was delicious- I had a delightful quiche that came with a tasty side salad. They also had lots of different types of eggs, sausages, cheese breakfasts, etc. on the menu to choose from. The owner was very friendly and was very kind to translate the menu for me to English. Looking forward to coming back!

Thereâs not a ton of infrastructure at Sans Souci unless you go into Potsdam proper. This is a good option, just across from the windmill at the palace grounds entrance. Simple North German fare, served at reasonable prices with efficiency. Nothing special, but lots of options on the menu. Nice wine list.

Locale gradevole, a pochi metri dall'acqua, con tavoli sia all'interno sia all'esterno. Cotoletta panata discreta; patate arrosto un po' sbruciacchiate e piene d'olio; birra Berliner dissetante. Attesa delle portate assolutamente eccessiva, pur essendoci pochi clienti seduti ai tavoli.

.... we enjoyed the November Goose.it was quite an elaborate menue, with 3, 4 or 5 courses, all goose related.The soup was excellent, not so the main dish, the goose meat was a bit tough.But we wewre met with good and friendly, warm hospitality and liked the Spätburgunder offerings which match goose quite well.A nice evening, maybe a bit tough on the goose meat, but all in all we will be back

We had a very nice German meal on the water. The atmosphere was excellent and the wait staff was very good as well as the food. Highly recommended right there on the water!

Had it not been for our guide (see Explore Berlin Tours), we would have never found this lovely neighborhood gem. But we are so glad we did. The menu was classic German, lunch delicious, Pilsner cold and satisfying and the setting gorgeous and scenic. It was truly one of the highlights of our visit to Potsdam. At first glance, we didn't think we would be able to eat here without a reservation. Tables completely full or with reservation cards on top were all we could see. The hostess, however, let us know you could order the same things from a stand and eat on the nearby pier, complete with wooden tables on the water.We stood in line for about ten minutes, and ordered our food. Hint: get the fish nuggets. They were beer battered and amazing when coupled with this place's homemade remoulade or honey mustard. I also loved the fried catfish (Wels). It was so fresh and hot that I burned myself many times while trying to eat it because I was impatient and couldn't wait. My husband had fried salmon, and enjoyed it, too, although I'm pretty sure the catfish was better. From a stand across from where you order food, we got beer and wine and took everything down to the dock. We got a perfect corner table and enjoyed the view of the water. Highly recommended!

Well known by the locals there were all sorts of parties and groups gathered to eat at a large barbecue. We were not invited to take part and went on the menu. Good service, good food - if a little plain - lovely spot. We were recommended to it by our landlady and went by bike.

A nice 'gemutlich' Restaurant (with Hotel) set in rural surroundings about 3km from Motorway, rustic wood interior, good hearty food (try the Rinderroulade - beef olive), a little pricey for a location set in rural surrounds, but generous portions make up for some of that.

... aber leider nachvollziehbar sind die Gründe warum das Hagemeister am 30.09. schlieÃt ... Ich sitze im schönen Garten und genieÃe den leckeren Flammkuchen mit Räucherlachs und lausche den unsichtbaren Vögeln ... Die Bedienung ist toll und wird sicherlich schnell einen sehr guten Job finden und die Betreiberin wird hoffentlich in anderer, vielleicht kleinerer Form irgendwann weitermachen ... Dieses gastronomische Kleinod wird Werder fehlen ...
