This restaurant is in an idyllic location. A short distance away from the crowds with good parking and overlooking the water of the Prerower Strom as well as the activities on the other busy side with people,ships and boats moving about. It offers dining inside surrounded by railway paraphernalia in a railway carriage layout and in good weather you can enjoy the outdoor setting with a meadow in front of you and the above-mentioned view. If you are using the outdoor area keep an eye on the sky, the weather can change very quickly! On one occasion we had to relocate inside. It offers a reasonable menu and good service.

Leckere und frische Fischbrötchen für zwischendurch. Wir haben uns hier bereits mehrfach auf Radtouren mit einem Snack versorgt. Die Brötchen werden direkt frisch belegt und liegen im üblichen Preisrahmen (Bismarck-/Matjes-Brötchen bei EUR 2,50)

Sehr schönes Lokal mit stimmiger Kulisse! Tischvorbetellungen in der Hochsaison sind ratsam! Wer drin sitzt darf eine liebevoll gestaltete Blockhütte bewundern. Das Essen ist gute Hausmannskost. So ein Riesenschnitzel bekommt man nicht alle Tage!

Loud, full, waitress wasn't really friendly and the food was rather average. We hat the cutlet and the steak. But the beer was nice. Still, I wouldn't go there again.

Food was ok, service was a little slow. I had the seafood soup, tasted very much like tomato soup with some seafood thrown in. Kids had the schnitzel and burger and they were much better. We should have made reservations, apparently no seats inside, so we sat outside. We waited 20min for the menus because there were no menus left. Then it started to rain and was offered seats inside, and there were lots of free tables. But overall ok.

Wir sind hier in jedem Urlaub bisher eingekehrt - typische Küche nach Prerow-Art. Kleine, übersichtliche Karte aber man wird bei diesen Portionen satt. Super viele Stammkunden !

Lage mit Blick aufs Meer, Tisch (Vorreservierung!!), Service, und insbesondere das Essen: es passte einfach alles! Gute ausgewogenen Speisekarte mit gutem Fischangebot, aber auch ein Thaicurry, was dem Namen alle Ehre macht! Weiter so!!

Excellently prepared fish Dishes.We went as a group of four after our walk along the beach. This restaurant is between the beach and the forest. It has a beer garden and one can sit very well outside as the seating area has the possibility to be covered. When it rains there is a device that is used to cover the area.The fish menu is extensive. They have varieties of fresh fish not often found in other restaurants.I took a fish dish and it was well prepared and fresh.This restaurant by the sea is casual and child friendly.The waiting staff were efficient and friendly.I can recommend this restaurant near the beach when one visits Prerow.

Das Achtern Diek liegt etwas ausserhalb und versteckt - ein Besuch lohnt aber in jedem Fall! Zu allererst sei das wirklich kompetente, freundliche und aufmerksame Service-Team erwähnt. Allzuoft wird âServiceâ in der Region leider nicht gross geschrieben, aber hier stimmt einfach alles - grosses Lob an das Team.Das Achtern Diek wirkt innen gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet, das Ambiente ist locker, auch mit Kindern fühlt man sich hier wohl. Die Speisekarte macht schon beim Lesen Appetit und hält bei weitem, was sie verspricht. Wir starteten mit dem Labskaus (ein wirkliches Gedicht), den Ostsee Bruschetta (whow, geschmacklick der Hammer!) und der Quiche, welche wirklich auf den Punkt war. Anschliessend versuchten wir den Muscheltopf, der sowohl geschmacklich als auch in der Frische einzigartig war. Der Koch versteht nicht nur sein Handwerk - er lebt es auch. Das zeigte sich auch bei den parallel kommenden BBQ Ribs - eine grosse Portion BBQ-Glück, die butterweich vom Knochen abfiel und uns ein Grinsen ins Gesicht zauberte.Es stimmt hier einfach alles, sowohl das grosse Ganze, als auch die kleinen Details. So wird aufmerksam für den Kleinsten ein Teller Mini-Milchbrötchen gebracht und für die kleine Nichte auch jeder noch so absurde Getränkewunsch augezwinkernd erfüllt - einfach toll.Alles in allem ein gelungener Abend, jeden Euro wert und ein Highlight im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants in der Gegend. Hier fühlt man sich willkommen und erfährt echte Leidenschaft in Küche und Service.

The Fischrestaurant Seeblick in Prerow at the Baltic Sea is ecellently located close to the beach, and from the first floor, you have a very nice view on the Baltic Sea. But this is not the only plus of this Restaurant, they also have really friendly staff and (really!) the best Burger in town! And I'm sure, as the "Wildburger" is excellent, all the other meals will also be excellent. (in particular the waffle with cream and hit cherries).
