We were here with a group and had a really excellent three-course lunch,served by charming and attentive young waitresses. It happened to be the opening day of the Munich Oktoberfest so everything,including the waitresses' uniform,was very Bavarian. We noticed that in parallel to us there were other rooms,all filled with happy guests. Now we can't wait to return- just the two of us! The food was delicious and well-cooked and the place itself had great charm and atmosphere.

Die Villa Prinzhorn ist eine Bereicherung für die Gastronomie in Diepholz. Tolles Ambiente, super Personal. Schnell ist es zu unserem Stammlokal geworden. Mal an der Bar einen Drink genieÃen oder einen tollen Abend mit einen abwechslungsreichen Menü verwöhnen lassen. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Ich war auf Geschäftsreise mit meiner Agentur im Ort und bin kurz eingekehrt. Das Essen ist gut und sehr günstig, vor alenm die Tagesgerichte. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Perfekt für einen kurzen Stopp!

Wonderful dinner with a very welcoming staff. They had an English menu available and had the pumpkin and guyere cheese soup followed by a pork schneitzel in a mushroom sauce. The dinner was accompanied with a side of fresh homemade spaetzle and the value for the quality and huge portions was excellent. Could not have asked for a better meal on an Autumn evening.

Der alte Landgasthof Dümmerkrug Kuhlmann bietet eine rustikale Gastlichkeit in verkehrsgünstiger Lage zum Naturpark Dümmer. Es ist im niedersächsischen Bauernstil eingerichtet welche zum Verweilen und GenieÃen einlädt.Die Speisekarte umfasst zahlreiche Spezialitäten der Jahreszeit sowie Gerichte aus der heimischen Küche, wie z.B. Buchweizenpfannkuchen, Fischgerichte und vieles mehr.Wir waren schon des öfteren hier Essen und wir sind jedes Mal wieder begeistert. Von der Vorspeise über das Hauptgericht bis zur Nachspeise, alles ist immer perfekt.Bitte anrufen, eine Reservierung ist gewünscht.

Super Location! Sehr nette Bedienung und das aller wichtigste : das Essen ist wirklich gut ! Besonders zu empfehlen : das Schnitzel und der Zander :) Zu den Anfängen des Restaurants hat sich echt ganz schön was getan - weiter so ! Komme immer wieder gern mit der ganzen Familie!

Looked good from the outside. The menu posted outside was different from the menu inside so that undermined all of my research into German menus. Asparagus seems to be a big thing around here but it is white tasteless asparagus and not our green.Soup took 25mins to arrive but I'll admit it was delicious. Main course of perch, new potatoes and asparagus was fine and this arrived promptly after the soup. Then we come to the bill and I was informed that they did not accept non-German debit cards - I have a Barclays Visa debit card that has been accepted everywhere. So I grudgingly paid cash. Didn't like the attitude of this restaurant and later in the season there will be more choice. Now in April it is pretty much all that is available. I would avoid the restaurant.

Went on a Monday in December and it was very quiet. Service was very friendly and food was tasty. Forest mushroom soup followed by variety of fish fillets, which was excellent, selection of smoked fish, which was plentiful but I think the fish fillets were a better choice, as well as one portion of baked potato with smoked salmon. Portions were big, food tasty and prices were as expected in what is a tourist area. We were able to have a look at the smokers (visible through glass from the restaurant) which was great. It was worth the trip from Osnabrück.

In den vergangenen Jahren haben wir das Lokal dreimal besucht (wobei es anfänglich noch als âRohrdommelâ geführt wurde).Leider ist eine Eigenart stets dieselbe geblieben ist: Warten, warten, warten. Erste Getränke kommen nach ca einer halben Stunde, die Gerichte nochmal eine Stunde später.Das bedeutet unter dem Strich, dass man besser 2,5h mitbringen sollte.Bei unserem vorletzten Besuch hatten wir diese Gedukd nicht, und sind nach 90 Minuten gegangen.Die Terrasse entschädigt etwas dafür, der schöne Blick auf den See ist ebenfalls nennenswert. Das Ambiente bekommt 4 Punkte, die Speisen 3 Punkte, der Service (wegen der Wartezeit) 1 -2 Punkte:Die Bestellungen haben wir letztlich selbst innen am Tresen abgegeben, bevor akute Dehydration drohte.Schade. Man hat ja nicht immer Geduld für 2,5 Stunden, wenn man essen geht.Unter dem Strich runde ich auf 3 Punkte auf. Weil der Flammkuchen mit Birmen, Ziegenkäse und Walnüssen lecker war.

Ottima cena di lavoro a base di carne alla griglia, contorno e vini locali (niente di eccelso per un italiano abituato a sorseggiare vini della Franciacorta). Solita carriola di formaggi in tutte le salse. Dolce industriale, quindi niente di che. Rapporto qualità /prezzo buono. Consigliato!
