This was our default dinner place after a day at Legoland. We discovered it by chance as we intended to see the historic old town of Günzburg and the address (HauptstraÃe, Günzburg) made us believe we are right on track. Instead it is in the part of town called Deffingen, right across from a petrol station. Nevertheless, the beer garden was perfect on a warm summer day. We returned the next time and equally enjoyed our stay there. The next three times we could only sit inside due to the weather but even without reservation we always found a place (although this place is well frequented). Many visitors seem to be families with kids â staff is prepared with a kids menu and coloring pencils and a play area from smaller kids outside. Hence, no âkidsâ feeling for couple who just want a nice dinner. Bavarian specialties like Obazte, Swabian dishes like lentils or Maultaschen. Big portions for average prices (small prices if you have spent money on food at Legoland before).In the cellar they also have bowling â not the newest state of the art equipment, but still a lot of fun. Cheaper than Piraten Bowling at Legoland Feriendorf.

Urige Gaststätte mit vielen einheimischen Gästen. Diverse Stammtische sind die regelmäÃigen Besucher. Geboten werden typische regionale Getränke (Bier, Alkfrei und Spirituosen) und eine kleine Auswahl an regionalen Speisen (warm und kalt). Legendär sind hier Schnitzel und Cordon Bleu, sowie die Tellersülzen und "Blauen Schweinshaxen". Dazu gibt es die lokalen Neuigkeiten, die hier über den Wirt und ehemaligen Kommunalpolitiker ausgetauscht werden.

I have eaten seafood and it was perfect I have to say. BUT! The pasta's.... My girlfriend had eaten pasta Pesto and the sauces was not to good. She had problems with her stomach afterwards. They added extra things on the sauce and something wasn't great on it. Careful what you order there.

We had dinner here during our stay at the camp ground. Rather than cooking, we very much enjoyed the look over the lake and the sun.Also the next morning, we could get freshly brewed coffee here for a decent price and were allowed to sit on their terrace with our own breakfast items as they donât open for breakfast. This service was very much appreciated as we stayed in a tent and didnât bring chairs or tables. Normally I would expect only camp ground guests to eat at a camp ground restaurant, but this one has style and attracted people who just came for dinner.

Zaak ligt een beetje afgelegen, aan de rand van de altstadt van Burgau. Burgau is een leuk Beiers dorpje. Het zaakje wordt duidelijk met grote passie door een familie gerund. Binnen en in de gezellige biertuin zitten veel lokale gasten. Een goed teken, dat ook wordt waar gemaakt. Het eten is lekker en tegen vriendelijke prijzen. Schnitzel met kartoffelsalade en salade voor minder dan 10â¬, waar vind je dat nog? Porties zijn keurig en de smaak eveneens, lekkere paneer zeker pangebakken, zoals het hoort. De Schwabenpfanne met varkenshaas, spek en käsespatzle is "urig", maar valt ook in de smaak. Goed gegeten, niet bijzonder verfijnd maar wel lekker. Samengevat een zeer verdiende 4 uit 5.

We were towards the end of an all day drive and needed a break and a snack/dinner. We stopped here and chose from the sandwich options. I had a pretzel with cream cheese and cucumber and my husband chose a sandwich which he said was dry. We also got two beers. It would never be a destination, but was what we needed at the time.

The place is a medium size restaurant located almost in the center, close to the main street crossing the town.It offers a nice selection of classic food, steaks and pasta including some special seasonal dishes..Very helpful staff, interesting wine, good speed of serving are all the prosâ¦.the only con is unfortunatelyâ¦food that is just average and without any unique taste.It was a nice stay, in a very friendly atmosphere but it will be not food that will bring us there back again.Hallo Es tut uns leid,das wir nicht Ihren Geschmack getroffen haben.Liebe GrüÃe

Coming from Legoland, sleeping in Jettingen, we decided to eat in August in this restaurant with my wife and our two kids.Family atmosphere, english menu, very kind and smiling women helping with the translation.Two good soups, two main course and two kid-plates for childrens, provided quickly and with good taste. No special presentations: just simple, fresh food, really appreciated.Bill was 50 ⬠total, one of the best ratio quality/price in our trip. A nice place, if you are not too demanding in plate presentation and cozy atmospheres, and if you prefer the concreteness of a family restaurant, eating as you would do at your home.Nice point for kids: menu is provided on a sheet with drawings to be coloured, with pencils, and is left to them at the end of the dinner. Nice idea!Suggested? Yes! Would I be back? Probably. You'll enjoy the atmosphere.
