We were looking for a german restaurant and Diebsloch was the closest.Its location is top, just like any café and restaurant at Marktplatz. The deck outside was full, but we got a nice table for 3 inside, staff was friendly through and through.We were satisfied with our Schweinelendenspieà (served w champignon, bratkartoffel and sauce), Schnitzeljagd (Schnitzel in Kinderportion without schnitzel soÃe, and pommes) and Diebesgut (also has pommes, with probably fried chicken?!? Wasn't my dish not so sure). I asked for extra sauce for my pommes, no problem. Sauce came after 1min.Food and service, all in all, great.The only thing that bugs me was my pfälzer Grauburgunder (can't remember the brand name, but they have only 2 options for grauburgunder and only one of them is from Pfalz). Not my thing. Maybe someone else would adore it to death, but to me, it's bad. I had grauburgunder from other pfälzer brands and liked them all, but not this one. Conclusion: would definitely come back, and for sure will take another wine.

Waren das 2. Mal dort, dieses Mal zum Mittagessen. Bedienung und Essen waren schmackhaft. Ich habe das Problem mit künstlichen Stoffen, die meist in Soossen sind. Was es war weiss ich nicht, aber etwas davon scheint drin gewesen zu sein. Meine Begleitung hatte keine Probleme. Wir können das Lokal empfehlen, da gutes Essen, die Preise passen und wer will, kann dort auch noch ein Zimmer mieten. Da es mehr oder weniger ein "Grenzlokal" an der BundesstraÃe Schleiz-Hof, ca. 500 m vor der Saale, die bis 1989 Grenzfluss zwischen DDR und BRD war.

Bistronauten relocated from Hirschberg to Weinheim in June 2016, and they have continued to do very well. They are open only in the evenings for dinner, from 18:00 to 22:30, Tuesdays through Saturdays.Housed in the former OEG train station, Bistronautenâs modern interior is made up of an open kitchen, a bistro, a bar, the main dining area and a private dining section. The kitchen belongs to two chefs â Max Still and Johannes Raiber, who work only with seasonal ingredients sourced from small business owners throughout the region. They prepare and serve traditional German fare with modern overtones, and one can really taste the quality.There are 50 seats available in the main dining area, and these are almost always fully booked at least 4 weeks in advance. We managed to get seats without reservations by arriving at 18:00 as soon as they open, and claiming the seats which they set aside for walk-ins.There is only one menu â the daily specials, written out on a blackboard. Choose one of three main dishes â 1 meat, 1 fish, 1 vegetarian â to form a 2-,3- or 4-course menu with a soup and/or a salad and/or dessert/cheese platter. An amuse-bouche is presented upfront to whet the appetite. Table water is included in the price.The service team is friendly and attentive â we were very well taken care of by our server. Our daughter enjoyed the novelty of being able to interact with the chefs, watching while they went about cooking up a storm.All in all an enjoyable evening out, sampling authentic âneue deutsche Kücheâ prepared with heart and soul, traditional dishes elevated into modern creations.

Everything here it top-notch........the building itself, the service, and especially the food. We were a party of four and all had a different entree. Each one was superlative and the owner was so welcoming and friendly. A reservation is a must but this restaurant is worth your time.

Small local hotel and bar/restaurant. Locals hanging out watching the football/soccer game. They do not speak any English but they have an English translated menu. You just point and use hand signals to try to describe what you want because they canât read the English menu, lol!I ordered the hunterâs schnitzel. It was amazing! Topped with mushroom gravy and an egg it was so fantastic I ate it two nights in a row!My husband had the tarte flambee which was equally as good. The next night he ordered the cream schnitzel but it kind of got lost in translation and he received the onion schnitzel which was also really good.Do not miss this place! Amazing food and value!

ein durch und durch familiengeführter Betrieb; ein typischer Dorf-Gasthof mit sehr guter Küche. Egal, ob man die Salat mit Ziegenkäse oder das Rumpsteak mit Kräuterbutter wählt, man bekommt echte Hausmannskost, und dennoch etwas anders. Feldsalat mit würzigem dänischem Blauschimmelkäse, Kalbsschnitzel, Wildgulasch, einfach alles auf der handgeschriebenen Karte ist empfehlenswert.Die Wirtin ist mit Herzblut bei der Sache und gerne auch für einen ganz persönlichen Plausch zu haben.

This is an absolutely top tier restaurant. The food was superb and presentation was outstanding. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone. I had two fish dinners and lamb once along with just in-season white asparagus. Each meal was fantastic experience for all of the senses! As a frequent traveler, I have eaten all over the world, but I must say, this restaurant is in my top 20 all time.

This is an outstanding establishment!Small in size but huge in service and quality of our meals. We had the veal steaks, which were the best we have ever tasted. Wish we could take the chef back to TN with us!

Very nice setting for the restaurant in a courtyard especially on a warm Summer's evening. Meal was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Very glad we drove out for dinner. Highly recommended.
