Le Poisson Rouge is the flagship restaurant of French chef Gregory Bazire, and just a walk down from our little resort on the Baga River. Dimly lit, the lush green shrubbery seemed to encase us from the honking outside. The menu is French-Indian-Goan, perfectly cooked dishes in a classic French style with local flavours. It might sound like a well trodden path, but the results are a lively and captivating. River Crab and Coconut Tempura was deliciously moist, both crab and coconut flakes were fresh and danced together wonderfully. The tempura casing was crunchy and springy at the same time. Accompanied also by a sweet and tangy fig sauce for added punch.

Visited with family the restaurant is tastefully done . Indoors & Outdoors. WE stayed at the Resort 6 nights and ate here about 4. We found the food very tasty on western dishes and never tried Indian, having been in India three weeks already. The menu is a little restricted but I would rather a restricted menu than food not up to scratch.As my wife was sick we did not venture out much and when I did try, a number of restaurants recommended on trip advisor were shut for the off season.With the resort attached I suspect this is open all year round and has live music Tues and Thurs.Staff were quite professional and helpful.Greetings baj2300,Thank you for taking the time to review us and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed dining at Kapriz. This was the first restaurant that we eat at on or trip to Goa and was certainly an enjoyable start. Food all fresh and good and very good value. By the road, so can be noisy as all local drivers like their horns.

Out of the Box dishes and well platted. The restaurant serves Goan Poi Pizza a very tasty twist. The Thai or Italian were all served and tasted different. The flavours were well balanced and we all enjoyed the meal. The dessert Bonafie Pie and Chocolate platter were also different and tasty. A good place to visit. When you walk into Suzies you feel the warmth... from the beautiful quaint Portuguese architecture and garden lit like a fairyland... you sink into those gorgeously designed chairs and are then treated to a journey of tastes. We heard about this restaurant from a family friend and decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. We were greeted immediately and shown to our table. The staff were very attentive. I ordered Beef Wellington and my husband a pork chop. An apperitive was brought to our table.The food took about 20 minutes to arrive but was worth waiting for. The presentation was perfect and the taste was just what I had hoped for.For desert I chose Pavlova.Thank you Gwen for your wonderful review. We are glad you enjoyed the meal and service and had a memorable experience at Amavi. The restaurant has changed hands, it has lost the atmosphere and has changed its customer base and added burgers etc , desserts are not the same qualityI go here every year , watch for next year's update,Food was ok but was standard. I would like to inform you that since the inception of Go with the Flow in the year 2013, we have had 3 well renowned International Chefs change hands and that has given Go with the Flow a greater and better variety of different flavors from the countries of our Chefs resulting in GO WITH THE FLOW growing more flavorful and aware of the change and wants in its customers as well.Since you mentioned burgers, I would like to say YES we have burgers and that too is of an international standard just like our Chefs. We have also added Vegan food and Keto dietary requirements along with Low Carbs are taken into consideration.I hope you followed that too.If you plan to visit us again this November, I would love to make sure to you leave with a palate full of flavors that will have you coming back for more.
