The Saturday Night Market

THE SATURDAY NIGHT MARKET - The World's Local Market. The Saturday Night Market is Goa's retro styled hippy and artisan night market that features a wide variety of colors and scenes and is truly a kaleidoscope of stalls having cultural influences from all across the globe, which is, in reality its uniqueness. Why miss it?

Reviewed By PrabhaJain - Mumbai, India

Come Saturday evening, and it seems the whole of Goa has come to visit the flea market. I was impressed with the way the organizers manage the traffic and thousands of cars for parking. The market has so many stalls, more than 1000, I think. However, it’s only called a flea market, the prices of some of the apparels and stuff are higher than some of the international brands. But it’s not just the apparels u get there, the market has lot of other stuff to shops from, spices, teas, jewellery, bags, crockery, home decor, etc etc. It has lot of food stalls and bars as well of different cuisine and live band Performances too! Makes for a very colourful evening/ night!

Ayur Clinic Goa

Dr. Rohit's clinic is one of the best value places in town for a medicine based relaxing and rejuvenating Ayurveda (traditional indian medicine) massage. If you are also looking for a therapeutic 7 days Panchakarma package (ayurevdic detox-therapy) this is the best place to go ahead. Ayurclinic Goa has two clinics, one in Arpora - between "Royal Goan Beach Club Resort" and "Mykonos Blu Resort", and one in Mandrem Beach - next to "Sol Beso Resort" in Junas Waddo.

Reviewed By Yogi240 - London, United Kingdom

I contacted this clinic in July 2015 regarding panchakarma treatment. They said that they could also book accommodation for me but suggested I contact them in November. I e-mailed them in November and did not hear back. I sent about 5/6 e-mails then finally got a response saying they would book accommodation but no details given of what they were booking. It got to December and I was still trying to get an answer from them. I was due to arrive in Goa mid December. It got to the day of my departure (I was at the airport) when they told me the name of the accommodation they were booking. I looked the place up on the Internet and told them, in an e-mail, which type of room I wanted. In this e-mail, I did complain of bad service and got a response straight away. They told me they had booked me one night and then I could decide if I wanted to stay there or I could find somewhere else. By this point, I had boarded my flight and sent them an e-mail asking why they had only booked me one night and that I did not expect to be searching for accommodation whilst I was on holiday, if they were unable to help me then they should have told me months ago.
On arrival, I was horrified that they had booked me into a different place (not the one they had given me details of). The room was a beach shack with no AC, no hot water.
The following day I complained but was told they could help me find accommodation but prices would be very high now.
In short, I spent the first day of my holiday searching for accommodation and ended up paying more than what I wanted as options at this point were limited. I could have booked it months ago myself for a good price.
The staff from Ayurclinic were rude, unhelpful, incompetent and really could not care less that I was left without a place to stay.
I would advise anyone to steer clear of this clinic. It does not operate to western standards of customer service and, most worryingly, caused an imbalance within me by the way they treated me. You really don't expect this from Ayurveda.
If you want an Ayurvedic detox, there are lots of places to go for treatments, have medicines prescribed and yoga. Don't waste your money here!

We stayed here for one night less than one week ago..
Location is slightly inside but one must prefer to stay here..
it has beautiful swimming pool, gym, restaurant, lawn, Fountains which adds beauty to this property..
Rooms are quite spacious, well equipped
Coffee machine, digital locker, fridge was available in room..
Our room was garden view with private sit out which proved to be a wrong choice..
One should always book pool facing rooms or suite .. That View is quite awesome..

They have restaurant in the same premises called Balcao.. Which provides both buffets and a la carte . Food is finger licking.. Buffet has surprisingly all best dishes..
They serve Excellent breakfast.. Quite cooperative staff ..they always serve with smile..

Due to location of his place one can visit Calangute, Baga and Anjuna Beaches quite easily..
Even if one decided to stay indoors instead of going out.. He will thoroughly enjoy the evening due to karaoke or some other music.. immaculate arrangements are assets of this property..
We stayed here for two nights, three days.. Enjoyed immensely..
Highly recommended place to relax and for lazing around..
