My partner and I dined at the M hotel restaurant on 2 occasions during our stay. Our choice of food, on each occasion was very different but each time we were very pleased with the presentation and the taste. Alex the chief waiter was very helpful. We ate outside and it was a lovely evening dining alongside the beautiful lake.I would recomend this restaurant

My partner and I, with friends, have now eaten at Magnific twice; we live close by and are very pleased to have this excellent new choice in our neighborhood. Firstly, and most importantly, the food is very good: nice presentation, good quality and very well prepared. The décor is lovely: very current with a sharp bar and two stylish dining areas. And, the service is very good and attentive; just consider that eating at Magnific is an evening long affair and you will enjoy it. Alain, the owner, ensures that his guests are comfortable and looked after; he is a well known character (meant in the best possible way) as he has been in the bar and restaurant business in the area for many years and is a very personable host. His new restaurant is off to a very good start and we look forward to returning very soon. Our only suggestion: the menu card is a bit short, more choices would be appreciated especially for clients who visit on a regular basis.

Fortunately I was able to book a table for two during the famous Art Fair (TEFAF). During my reservation I have asked for a table at the window so we could enjoy the beautiful view on Maastricht. Although they couldnât guarantee this table I was lucky to get it. And what an astonishing view. It was a risk for Rantree to move from the centre of Maastricht to this place but it was worth it. Not only the view but also the interior. A modern and warm interior and plenty of space between tables. So you have enough privacy to spent an excellent evening. And although fully booked no noise, which is a great achievement.We ordered the 5 course diner. Not only the dishes were excellent but also the appetizers. Each one of them (I think we got 5 in total) tasted excellent. Compliments to the chef; not the standard stuff but beautifully shaped and presented appetizers. Especially the merengue appetizer was an explosion of flavours in our mouth.When you order a five course meal it is a 4 hour feast. The combination of the dishes is, combined with the appetizers, are well thought out and it doesnât feel like 4 hours. We had an culinary journey on a Michelin level (I have eaten at 2 Michelin restaurants that even didnât come close to Rantree). In fact we skipped the dessert because we were done (and are not that fond of desserts).The wine list contains of a small but sufficient selection of beautiful wines. As my partner isnât that fond of red wine we ordered a Pouilly Fumee. Very good price quality. Next time I will order the wine arrangement.The waiters are stylish and informal. A strange combination but it fits into this restaurant and probably they know how to judge the individual needs of their guests. The water and wine glasses were filled without having to ask. So no empty glasses.Is it all perfect? Almost. The bar has a beautiful view on Maastricht but has a little bit lack of atmosphere. It is a square room next to the restaurant but you will find only seats here. So actually not a bar. We were finally surprised again by a restaurant. It is not cheap but worth it. You will have a great culinary experience with great hospitality. Located in the Hotel Stiemerheide. Friendly services. Food is average, and a bit pricy. A pity because the previous chef who was excellent, now started the adjacent Restaurant "De Kristalijn" which grew into excellent place.Corneille should improve and keep price/quality in balance. The Brasserie in the same hotel, although with the same cook, is better value for money and, waether permitting has a nice terrace

Seriously the best steak I've had in such a long time. Entrecote. Really do recommend stopping by here, ambiance was great, service very good. Price is a bit more top end but matched the overall service and quality from the evenings spent there. Very happy to pay a bit more for a lot more if that makes sense, also a great selection of tasty red and white wines. Must go back. This is one of the occasions that one regrets having spoiled the 5 stars quotation on others. This is definitely 6 stars level.The 2 Michelin stars awarded just recently to this restaurant don't give this restaurant what they deserve : the highest level !We had a tasting menu with excellently balanced dishes and delicious combinations of delicate tastes and high quality products. I can't remember I ever had a complete menu without one dissonant. La source really made it to the top 3 of my restaurant experiences, if not thé top.We started with several little amuse-bouche. Each and every one of them was a delight. Taste, structure, combination ... everything was perfect. One of them was some cheese combination in the form of an olive. Beautifully presented and with a superb taste. See gthe pictures for the other ones.The next was hamachi and goose liver. Excellent, wow, ... Then we had haddock with oyster, passion fruit and chives. Wow again ! The main course was Dombes Duck with Mole, red beetroot and cherry raisin. What can I say - a masterpiece. The dessert was Jerusalem artichoke with pear, chocolate and sorrel. Can I have another one please ...For the sweets with the coffee, a waiter is passing by with a cart full of deliciously looking (and tasting !) delights of all kinds. One really is tempted to say : a bit of everything please..With the risk of repeating myself over and over again. This is one of the best places I've ever been. It can't be said enough. Great food, great service, great place.Thanks for the exceptional experience.

Have never imagined this small hide-away provided such high standard of food and services as one could expect only from a small number of very expensive restaurants in Tokyo.You can enjoy its garden during the meal too. Do not forget to receive the owner's suggestion for the wine.

first visit. friendly welcome, professional staff, nice setting and view on the open kitchen. We had the 5 course menu, preceeded by 4 very good appetizers. We espacially appreciated the salmon, the coquilles and the dessert. Nice 'après desserts' with the coffee. Complete winelist. Will go back!
