Restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining (next to pool). Food and service quality great. Mainly french cuisine and recommend for fine dining. Located next to Porto Bar. For a great evening in Bamako then dine at Rabelais and goto Porto for a drink with great music.

The food is wonderful, but this is one of the most expensive restaurants in town. Their full menu is only open for the mid-day meal, and they get a lot of business from UN and Embassy folks and other expats. The manager solicits customers' opinions so she can improve the menu.

Leisurely sitting by the river in Bamako is nice enough, but it's an even better experience if you're savoring an excellent grilled steak. I erred on the cautious side and had it cooked medium, but even so it was juicy and melted in the mouth.

Other reviewers have described many of the great selections on the brunch menu -- the eggs benedict with smoked salmon was wonderful served up with a well-mixed mimosa. The open-air setting nestled in greenery is a quiet respite in a busy, dusty city. The service is excellent -- arrive by 11 for weekend brunch to avoid the crowds.

Went there for a business lunch, everything was on point, tasty food and great service. Was at first reluctant to try the beef carpaccio but I have to admit it was pretty good and the other good news is that I didn't get sick from it. I also had grilled captain with chorizo sauce accompanied with ratatouille, it was really tasty. The only thing keeping me from going there more often is definitely the location, too much traffic in the area.

Mali is swarming with "intervention forces" from the United Nations and France, trying to build peace in rural areas that have been destabilised by jihadist uprisings over the past 6-7 years. So Thierry's homage to the exploits of the foreign legion seems a bit out of place. There's a large mural showing a battle in the Sahara... Which can be ignored for those who prefer to concentrate on the very good food. Returning to the region after a long absence I chose a dish with capitaine, a West African fish. It was just right! The company was good and the service was attentive, so I put the military dimension on hold and had a pleasant couple of hours!Thank you for your encouragement Sir Our restaurant is unpretentious, and we always try to do our best to satisfy youFor your information the fresco that you noticed does not happen in the desert but in Mexico in Camerone on April 30, 1863 during the expedition of Mexico. This is the representation of the epic combat of the foreign legion where Danish people also gave their lives. The date of this fight is the celebration of the sacrifice of the ancestors, an example for the young and especially the celebration date of the foreign legion. As you can see now, nothing shocking!
