The municipality comprises the villages of Maldegem, Adegem (nl) and Middelburg. Kleit (nl) and Donk have always been separate hamlets of Maldegem. On January 1, 2006, Maldegem had a total population of 22,289. The total area is 94.64 square kilometres (36.54 sq mi) which gives a population density of 236 inhabitants per km².

Dit zijn geen frieten maar aardappel stukjes van 1 a 2 cm, een normale friet is 6 a 12cm, de stukjes waren goed gebakken, het stoofvlees was goed van smaak, maar was geen frituurstoofvlees, een goede frituurstoofvlees blijft de saus mooi liggen op de frietjes, deze zakte (liep) onmiddellijk naar beneden.De rest was inkoop dus het kwam gelukkig van de fabriek.Er zijn betere frituren in Maldegem.Dus de uitbater zal aan de oren van de aardappel leverancier moeten trekken,want een mooie friet word nog steeds zelf doorgetrokken (gesneden)

nice place, and good food when you like burgers they serve them in all types, big and bigger vegetal burgers as wellnice good big portions reasonable prices
