Speisekarte, die auf der website avisiert ist liegt im Restaurant nicht vor, so dass ich und meine Gäste ein komplett reduziertes und anderes Menu presentiert bekommen haben. Da für uns bei der Auswahl von ca. 3 Vorspeisen und 5-8 Hauptspeisen nichts dabei war, sind wir in ein anderes Restaurant gegangen. Wäre schön gewesen, wenn man von der reduzierten Speisekarte bei der telefonischen Tischreservierung erfahren hätte. Schade und peinlich als Gastgeber.

This was a family/cousins 8 seat reunion at this olde style, well used tavern. On arrival our 8 seat table was offered as a 5 seat, but we located an 8 seater upstairs in a quiet alcove. The usual efficient, charming waitress took our drinks order while we studied the menu. When the drinks quickly appeared we ordered our luncheon & the chatting really got under way. Suddenly we realised an hour had slipped away but no food had appeared. Another 20 minutes passed & disquiet set in, ended by my German born wife springing up & searching for our waitress. Unbelievably, our order had been overlooked/mislaid. Profuse apologies & our food arrived five minutes later. Massive, wholesome, good. Sadly by this time most bonhomie had dissipated. But we made the best of it & departed. A flawed gem, but well worth another visit.

OK Cappucino, and so so service. But located in the beautiful market square - and lots to watch on a Saturday morning whilst the market is in full square.

Great meal and service. If you are planning a group event, consider this venue. The choice of entrees for attendees was amazing. Large and varied to accommodate all eating preferences.

Visited this restaurant numerous times for different occasions ranging from meal with the wife, group outing, birthdays and wakes. Had a brilliant meal here and service was not in your face but just right. Meal itself was well presented and above all tasty. The price is worth the visit and you will not be disappointed. My tip, the Salmon in the Olive oil sauce.

La Domenica has long been at this same site, tending to guests and researchers at the Herzog August Bibliothek in Wolfenbuttel. I had not been here for many years, but this time around the management seems to have changed, and the food was much improved. Bravo!
