Located on a relatively low-key, residential street. We arrived on a relatively quiet Firday night. The staff were unable to speak too much in the way of English; so we swapped over to French, which proved to quite an immersive experience. The food is good quality, bistro classics. I went with a fois gras starter followed by a Bouillabaisse. Both were extremely good. My over half was impressed by her fish main of Dourade. The experience transported us off to the Paris left bank for a couple of hours and away from sausages, pretzels, saukerkraut and beer for a couple of hour (at least)s. One to be sought out.Dear customer, we are very thankful for your positive rating but we guess that you maybe choose the wrong restaurant at tripadvisor? We haven't been offering neither fois gras nor bouillabaisse for two years now... In this Wirtshaus with Beer-Garden you get classical Bavarian food. It is nothing extraordinary, however the overall quality is good. The service was kind and friendly, the interior is traditional. Good thing: I went there at 10 PM and the kitchen was still open. You find parking places right next to it.

We visited this place several times and the food was always very delicious. They make the best Kaiserschmarrn we've ever eaten and the salads are also super tasty and carefully prepared. The service and terrace ambiance are nice, though at high-peak hours the place can become really crowded and you need to be prepared for a longer waiting time (for food). All in all, wonderful Biergarten, we go there anytime we have the opportunity.

Actually I had a pretty high expectation after reading the reviews and even an article in the sueddeutsche Zeitung. We had the mixed starter plate which was just average- nothing special. After that I had the calamari which were good and very soft with a good taste. Service was really good- nothing to complain. However I couldnât find something special on the menu.

Nothing to rave about. Portion size was generous. Food was OK. Atmosphere that evening was ok. Not too crowded as we arrived early. Our reservation was messed up and despite an email confirmation, it could not be found. Neither could the requested corner table be found. They were available but we could not sit there. There you go. Overall OK.Dear PJsPjs,thanks for your feedback. Sorry for the reservation mistake. Hopefully we can show you next time a better side.

This is the place wait staff should come to learn ... Andreea is fabulous, attentive, observant and delightful. This authentic Italian restaurant (gracias mille Pia) has great things to offer ... the freshest of ingredients, sensational tastes of Italia, excellent wine selection and of course an Italian at the helm!!. Germans it seems have a fascination with Italian food .... This is YOUR place to come...The menu is not in English but was explained perfectly to us. The real issue is what NOT to choose.. Seriously, octopus, salmon, rabbit, veal, beef.. It is a perfect Italian restaurant, a little out of the city (but 80 m from the Underground).if you are interested...we were delighted by gratis mixed bruscheeta plate, then selected veal carpaccio and char grilled octopus. Mains of rabbit with polenta and saffron seafood ... Neither could be faulted. We finished with of course lemoncello!!! Enjoy.

I saw several reviews of this restaurant and I must say the negative ones do not seem to be fair. The service is friendly and at a reasonable pace. It is true Bavarian fare and is frequented quite heavily by locals. I would eat here again.

Fantastic food like you could only find in the best restaurants in Italy. Starters, main courses, desserts simply made to perfection.Baby calamari and anchovies wonderfully prepared, spaghetti with clams and spaghetti with scampi that make you think of being just close to the sea and finally a superbly fresh sea bass cooked in oven with just salt. Close your dinner with mascarpone dessert and taste the great Pratto wine all through the dinner. Unbelievably good, itâs almost embarrassing

I was very keen on visiting this Greek restaurant and I was very curious about it since was ranked #5 with 785 reviews. The service is poor: I received appetizers before drinks and sea bream before side salad. The sea bream was good, properly cooked by Greeks, but the waiter decided to fit the taste of the Germans and put a ton of pepper on it (luckily I stopped in time).Very expensive night 45⬠for: mix warm appetizer (18), Sea bream salad (22), glass of wine and water.

There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The schnitzel is very good, as well as the Bavarian meatloaf (we couldn't tell what the loaf had in it but it was very tasty). The English menus are sparse and are sometimes incorrectly translated. That said, we ate at the restaurant twice.The service is friendly and paced to enjoy your meal.
