I took my parents there for their 56th wedding anniversary. The restaurant is very nice (I would avoid eating in the "stube"), very typical Tyrolean. The service was extraordinary and the food exceptional. I actually found it difficult to choose just one starter, one main course and one desert. The wine recommended was perfect and it was one of the more reasonably priced one. Book well in advance

As the title says: Great setting! I often bring friends there! Also, I love that they brew their own beers (even though the dark one makes my stomach feel strange for 2 days..). However, their biggest problem is the food. It is simply not good enough for a place like that. I guess they get so many customers they would probably make less money if they spent more on the food but its a shame nevertheless. Either way, I'll certainly be back this season, even just for the beer and atmosphereWe are sorry that you are not satisfied with our service and food. Good prices and a very cosy stube to enjoy a meal with a group or couple. From outside looks like a typical roadside cafe, but once in you enjoy great service and a special meal.

An unusual find in Suedtirol: US and Argentinian beef. The owner's passion for his product can be felt in every aspect of this restaurant. Very nice, well priced wine list, excellent service, good size steaks and the "special" grill.If you need a change from pizza and pasta, then don't miss this place!

We found this restaurant after a beautiful drive up the mountain from Merano and Cermes. The food was excellent and the dining experience very satisfying. The waiter mentioned he doesn't get to speak English very often which we interpreted as that not too many Americans find this wonderful restaurant. For a Monday night it was very busy. Menu in German and Italian but we know just enough of Italian to make wise choices. Appetizers, entrees, wine, coffee was 110⬠for two.

We discovered this place on a small wine and culture trip. One of the members of our group comes here for years. And we discovered the execptionnal welcome of this very typical place of Alta Adige. We are in Italy and everybody speaks German. The quelity of the rooms and of the food is excellent . It is the place where you want to go to have an exceptional "souvenir".far from nowhere and in the center of everything. Stay if you can THree or four days it is even better.

On route to our next hotel (we were on cycling holiday) we had been cycling all morning and were ready for a break. Kathi's was our stop, what a welcome stop it was. This is a family run business, the restaurant is nestled in a delightful garden and the seating is under a canopy of vines. The service was excellent and the food wholesome and freshly prepared.Excellent value for money and well worth a stop. Please note however that they do not accept credit cards, only cash.

We had seen reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to make a reservation. The restaurant itself is very appealing and beautifully decorated. The service from the seating to the check was outstanding. Without being obtrusive our waitress was there to give more water, bread and even more ice without ever asking. The owner dropped by to make sure all was to our liking. The food was well prepared with fresh and locally grown vegetables. The pasta was cooked just right, the specials were unusual combinations, but perfect to the taste. Our party has risotto, lasagna and shrimp. Every dish was exception. Each table is decorate with a basket of fruit. The owner brought us some cherries as well. We were offered an after dinner drink but passed on dessert(too full). I guarantee you will not be disappointed..

Indeed excellent service and dining.The meal was delicious, plentiful and very reasonably priced.Waiters and waitresses were super friendly and indeed interested in your dialog. Super fast service, the meal was served in a flash.1 minor drawback was the cost of an additional salad of 4 Euros.The waiter made sure though that I really wanted that.
