A very nice restaurant in green area of the city,Tere was the first Gala Ceremony for Hall of Fames Martial Arts Europe organised with a minimum 100 participants.There were some speeches, decorations given, performances and at the end dance with music.The room was large enough and elegant!After the official part there was an excellent buffet with large selection of good cold and warm food.A good service assured no waiting for the drinks!

Das Flugplatzrestaurant hat nach langen Streitigkeiten mit dem Vormieter seit zwei Jahren eine neue Betreiberin, die viel Erfahrung aus der Gastro mitbringt. Das wird schnell ersichtlich. Die Terrasse ist im Sommer meist vollständig belegt, auch die neue Inneneinrichtung ist gut gelungen und für die kältere Jahreszeit behaglich. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, die Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet, wofür man auch mal eine halbe Stunde Wartezeit kalkulieren muss. Mein Mann und ich haben inzwischen verschiedene Gerichte probiert und waren durchwegs angetan. Nach dem Essen wird ein Espresso oder ein Schnaps aufs Haus kredenzt. Die Servicekräfte sind sehr freundlich. Alles in allem: ein absolut empfehlenswertes Ausflusgziel, natürlich besonders für diejenigen, die gern dem Flugbetrieb zuschauen.

We have visited this place several times for lunch. The regular menu has plenty to choose from and then they have the specials of the Day and season's specials as well. Regardless what I have chosen, the food has always been very nice. The service is good too; staff is very friendly.Dear Carsten J., thanks for visiting our restaurant many times. Mit Engagement und Herz ist Familie Beesten hier in 4. Generation bei der Sache. Gemütlich sitzt man bei guten internationalen Gerichten wie âKalbsrücken mit Bärlauchbutter und Kartoffelravioliâ. Und danach âAprikosen-Mousse mit karamellisierten Walnüssen

We traveled to Rheine with colleagues recently and before we left the city and drive back to Dusseldorf, we had the chance to stop by Beesten and enjoyed one of the nicest lunch I have had for a long time.The building itself has nothing much to be talked about and it is quite close to the train line which means that during the lunch, the occasional train full of Audi cars makes its way to the harbor. Past this small disturbance, I cannot recommend Beesten enough.Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner I guess and they were prompt to show us to the table. The menu itself is plentiful and the young lady who was looking after our table was very professional. i ordered the fish soup, duck breast and dessert. All very good. Our host recommended the entrecote which looked also very nice. All in all, a very pleasant lunch in a pleasant environment. I will definitely go back whenever I have the chance to travel back to Rheine!

I went here for a friend's get together and since this used to be our favorite place, we chose this once again; We were welcomed back as if no time has passed since our last visit all though indeed several years have.I hope I get a chance to come back......
