After a little research, I stumbled across Eight whilst planning our weekend visit to Bath. Booked a table on line with ease. What can I say! An absolute exquisite small restaurant which Iâm glad I booked for. Eight tables only in the main restaurant and catering downstairs for parties. Tucked down a smaller side street in central Bath, we found the restaurant in easy walking distances from where we were staying on the Royal Crescent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were all welcoming and happy to engage in conversation.The menu consisted of eight dishes with food supplied from local producers. A suggestion of wine (red and/or white) were on the menu for each dish and boy did they get this right! We took our daughter with us and for an eleven year old, she was also very impressed (not much impresses a pre teen these days!) with the selection. She had the plaice on seafood risotto. - cooked to perfection and served in a stunning lobster sauce, she devoured the lot.I had the roast lamb and all I have to say is wow! Cooked medium rare and served with croquet, roast potatoes and peas on a mint base topped with a beautiful jús. It melted. My husband had the rabbit which was served among baby carrot and kale, topped with a jús. He described it as tender and succulent with just the right accompaniment .Desert was also outstanding. The flourless chocolate cake with ice cream and the ice cream trios were a dream. An exquisite meal had by all of us and we canât recommend highly enough. Dear Guest,Thank you for your review. We visited this restaurant as a party of 7. Well,where to begin. Absolutely fantastic. Lovely cold and hot buffet. Eat as much as you like,and we did!Then came the meats. You name it,they had it. Pork,chicken,beef.lamb.sausages. it was never ending. They use the system of cards. Red side means you're done with the meat for either a break or you're full up. Green side means bring out more. And they did!Service was excellent and very friendly. We finished off with gorgeous skewered pineapple. We will be back for sure.

I booked a table a few weeks in advance as they only open on Fridays and Saturdays. This is a Moroccan style restaurant serving interesting food and specialties. Usually the menu that changes weekly includes starters and mains, but only tapas were available this time. However we thoroughly enjoyed the evening, especially as we had a table in the pretty courtyard garden. The staff lead by Aimee are very attentive and will talk you through the menu. They offer an extensive drinks menu and you can only pay by cash.

Booked this as a treat for my husband and I on a night away in Bath. Great experience from start to finish. All seven dishes were thought provoking, interesting and tasted sublime. The waitresses had good knowledge of the complex dishes and were friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return.

Consistently good, menus are always changing, sourcing products as from a 25 mile radius if possible, great service, good offerings at the bar (cocktails and other things), good wine list, delicious food. Unbeatable in the area!

I have been wanting to come here for some food since the kitchen opened.Anthony and his partner have done an outstanding job in renovating what was a disused, worn and tired pub.The lamb has a good selection of drinks, helpful staff, comfortable surroundings and oh my goodness... THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE, I canât praise this place enough.Really hope this place does well and succeeds, as this is a hidden gem in the local area!Will definitely be returning again sometime soon.

Visited today for Sunday lunch and to mark our wedding anniversary. Had already had an exceptional visit last year and we were pleased to find nothing has changed. Excellent, well presented food and friendly, efficient service in a pleasant environment overlooking the golf course. Very good value too. Worthy of 5 stars and comparable to some top rated London restaurants, if not better. We look forward to returning again as soon as we can.

There appears to be no water plumbed into the gentlemen's urinals! The toilets SMELL they regularly look and smell unclean and lack daily inspection the pee mats ìn each urinal do not appear sufficient. Shame really as they seem to have most things going okay

My friends took me here for a 60 th celebration. We had a smashing evening. I chose the steak with seasonal vegetables. The steak was beautifully cooked and delicious and the veg were varied and tasted great too.All my friends loved their food too.We were made to feel very welcome, it was quite busy there given that it was a Tuesday evening. Called in for lunch 8 people . Only 2 other people in the restaurant at the time.Excellent menu covering all the Italian specialities plus some other mediterranean options. Food was spot on and everyone enjoyed their food . Definitely recommend this resturant.
