Although some rooms are a bit outdated it is a nice hotel to stay for both business and leisure at a good quality/price rate. Very kind and helpful personnel. Also a surprisingly good kitchen. Much better than expected. I have stayed here for business several days per week for the last 3-4 months and I am feeling actually a bit at home.

Had dinner here with my wife and daughter. The place specializes in meat dishes and offer classic plates. I had the Tournedos and it was fantastic. Plenty of tasty side dishes too! My wife had the 'old-fashioned' Asparagus plate with ham, egg and potatoes. My daughter had a side of spare ribs with fries and salad. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. Red house wine was very good. Service was quick and friendly. Great place!

We visited here while passing the area. The restaurant is directly at the main square of this lovely town. We love the warmth of the place. Staff is extremely friendly, quick and attentive in their service. Atmosphere is great, warm and welcoming. Food is really very good, though for us not at risk of breaking any culinary records. Menu offers quite some choice at various price points. We both had a two course menu at 28 euro per person. All in all a very friendly place, were you are well taken care of with great food, offering good value for money.

de Eetgalerie is a small but nicely decorated and cosy restaurant. They offer good food for reasonable prices. The female owner is very friendly and helpful. Certainly a recommendation!

We both had a starter and a main dish including several wines per glass. My starter was really great; baked gooseliver. Well balanced dish with great texture and flavor without being overbearing. Main and my wife's starter were very good, but not extraordinary. Goatcheeese and lamb. The house wines definitely have room for improvement, though staff was extremely helpful in sorting out a better wine for the main course. The restaurant is beautifully styled and staff very helpful and attentive. This is definitely an addition to the Lochem scene.

Location is superb in a quiet garden courtyard. Good weather that day certainly helped but I can see how I can enjoy the place even on a gloomy day. My friend and I both had the croquette on bread, which was very nice. The selection was not huge but adequate. Service was good. We felt welcomed and our orders were taken promptly with patience to explain the Dutch menu, and the food was served without too much of a wait. Good and solid menu to choose from with a relatively fast service and reasonably priced. They used to have a huge grand dessert but we havenât tested that one recently.
