Father and son in the kitchen, mother runs the service. Very warm and friendly. Typical home-style food, good quality and very decent prices.

We visited without reservation and seated in 5 minutes and we were lucky. When we finished the food we found more than 10 people are waiting. Food was very good typical German and cheap. Must try home made spatzle.

This restaurant was one of the best things of our Europapark trip. The atmosphere of the place is very elegant and romantic, the service is impecable (the waiter also spoke perfect english) and the food was fantastic!. For 30 EUR we enjoyed an incredibly tasty, elegant and filling menu of entree, plat, dessert (See pictures).We had reserved another restaurant for the next day, but we called to eat here again... unfortunately it was already fully booked

We had the Zorba platter for 2, Biggest fresh dressed salad we have ever seen and a monster platter full of superbly cooked meats rice and chips. We literally couldn't move after this meal, excellent value for money.

After a long day at EuropaPark, the kids were tired and we wanted to have dinner near our apartment. The Apollon restaurant was not full, there were empty tables but a senior staff with long greasy hair simple dismissed my request for orders and said "we are full". Very nice Restaurant inside a winery with barn atmosphere, but high class Service and Food. We had the vegetarian menue and our son took the fish. Generally - that part of Germany does not have Access to fresh fish, so there is a natural Limit to the Quality in this aspect. Take the vegetarian menu instead is my recommendation. Themed autumn it was outstanding. Not ladled with cream/butter sauces but composed by a cook who has a highly developed sense of taste and ingredients. Actually the food was the highlight, the wines were ok but nothing outstanding. Homebaked bread with it and we were happy.

We were uncertain when booking this for a birthday celebration whether a restaurant in a theme park could really be worth 2 Michelin stars. Happily it was well worth it. The restaurant decor is very interesting and a luxurious contrast to the hotel in which it is located. Food was excellent and service good. Wine list had some great choices and the sommelier was excellent.

Nach einem Ausflug mussten wir uns mit 7 Personen unbedingt stärken. Wir entschieden uns für Hummels Strausse in Ettenheimweiler. An Navifahrer gleich eine klare Botschaft, die Strasse werdet ihr im Navi nicht finden. Fahrt nach Ettenheimweiler nach der scharfen Linkskurve. Kommt die Strasse Margarten, dort einbiegen. Hier sieht man auch den Besen hängen. Dann geht es auf einer schmalen Strasse noch eine gefühlte Ewigkeit weiter. Und erst dann seid ihr da. Traumhafte Lage inmitten von Reben und alten Bäumen. Sehr schöner Spielplatz und ein Brunnen für die Kinder. Innen wie AuÃen ist die StrauÃe wirklich aufwändig und toll eingerichtet. Sehr schön. Der Service ist wirklich ausgesprochen flott und professionell unterwegs. Wir tranken Säfte und Wein. Dazu bestellten wir Schnitzel mit Brot, Wurstsalat mit Brägele, Flammkuchen und Vesperteller. Das Essen wurde flott geliefert. Und alles war schön angerichtet und schmeckte richtig lecker. Ja es stimmt die Toiletten sind jetzt nicht ganz auf der Zeit, aber sie sind sauber und mehr brauchen wir auch nicht. Klare Empfehlung, von der Lage gibt es kaum eine schönere Strausse. Und Preis-Leistung 1a.

My friend had been before, so the proprietor came to greet and offered to put a meal together which we happily accepted. Salad with pan-fried scallops and gambas, taglierini with a light cream sauce and truffle shavings, a creamy but still light soup (can't remember now which vegetable) followed by veal escalopes with a wonderful creamy polenta and some nice vegetables. We didn't know it would be four courses and had wanted just a little something.... but everything was absolutely delicious and we ate it all.... Menu price was ⬠39 per person - more than good value. Can absolutely recommend for a really nice meal, with family / friends or if entertaining business partners (open for lunch as well).

Service Wasser and the food really delicious. Prices about average. I had the fried potatoes with mushrooms which was delicious, and my wife the pork with pasta. Well worth a visit.
