Had an amazing meal here last night. Excellent food, especially the chicken and chorizo in honey and halloumi. The food portions were very generous, much bigger than other tapas restaurants. We ordered 5 between 2 and couldnt quite finish them. Lovely cocktails, I thought much better than the gin bar at the top of the street and much cheaper! Service excellent. Will definitely be returning.

I had received some vouchers for my birthday in May and was the fist time we could do a weekend so a phonecall for an early sitting we looked and chose from the menu.garlic mushrooms and pate lovely. Tagliatelle and lasagne with the tomato garlic bread with pesto and potatoes went down well. No room for a sweet but very filling and well presented tasty food. Pitty as it is a fair way to go for us country bumpkins but we'll worth the trip

Went for a meal with my 12 year old daughter last night. Menu is much simpler and easier to understand than before. Food was delicious and service friendly and attentive.Very good value for money when you consider the quality of the freshly made food.Will definitely be back soon.

Had not been here for a number of years and were looking for somewhere to have lunch for my Dadâs 90th birthday. The place was light and airy and plenty of room between tables. It was quite noisy as it was very busy. The food we had was very good and tasty. The sweets were very nice and not too stodgy. We will certainly be eating here again.

We visited in a Friday evening after making a booking travelling from Sunthorpe We had a really good meal with a great bottle of red wine The service was good and very attentive The owner was very friendly and a great characters recommended the wine plus helped with our choice of food We will definitely be returning soon

Have been wanting to dine/stay here for some time so pleased we were able to stay overnight whilst en route from a holiday in Northumberland. You primarily come here for the food......it is special, beautifully presented with ingenious combinations and superb flavours. The restaurant building is quirky with various lounge areas and a main dining area where the tables are pleasantly placed so you're not on top of neighbouring diners.The service was faultless from the welcome in the car park to the bar and restaurant staff. Everyone was focussed on ensuring you have a great experience. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms in the barn which has lovely views. The room was large and the bathroom very well appointed. Maybe the addition of a fridge would improve facilities further.Rooms aren't cheap and at least an inclusive continental breakfast may give a feelng of better value for money.Overall a fabulous night!Good Morning,Thank you very much for your kind review I will pass this on to our team here.
