We have been coming to PEI for several years and have driven by Sam's family restaurant several times without ever paying attention .On a rainy day this year we decided to stop in and we were glad that we did. Sam's is non descript looking but is the kind of place that caters to the "locals" . The food was good, the service prompt and friendly.We stopped twice first for breakfastMy wife had eggs and a blueberry pancakes and I had eggs and bacon both of which were excellent especially the home fries The second time we stopped was for dinner I had a "meat lovers pizza that was tasty my wife had the fried chickenIn sum, not a restaurant that caters to tourists, but if you are looking for some good food at a fair price Sam's place is a worthy stop

Visited on vacation from South Carolina USA with a family of 6. Seated right away. Wait staff very friendly. Restaurant was clean. I had the fish and chips and both were delicious and not greasy. Would visit again.Thanks for the review Rick, we are so glad you enjoyed your visit! We are known for our great staff. We hope we see you again if you come back to PEI!

Wonderful breakfast place! Ordered the pancake breakfast with bacon, eggs, home fries. Ordered over easy eggs and they were perfectly cooked. Pancakes were thick, fluffy and golden! The home fries are literally seasoned and delicious! The prices are more than reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. A lovely little family operated restaurant. A must try for breakfast!
