Nice looking restaurant. Perfect service. We took place at the bar. Very nice interior and by good weather , terrass at The Leie ! The food was outstanding . I wish Pieter De Troyer all the best with his team. We come certainly back.

we had a 'after meeting dinner' ...It was 'smashing' !The sevice was almost perfect...But...the food was more than outstanding !!Since I was invited ,I cannot judge about the price,I can imagine it was rather expensive ! Excellent restaurant. Beautiful place. One of the best restaurants you can visit. Super all in menus. Price/quality is very very good. The service is perfect, not too slow, not too quick. Gentle personnel. I will certainly go back. Perfect, you cannot find better.

To summarize my business diner two weeks ago; Tastefull refined food at its best and served in decent sized portions (which seems to be often a difficult combination). Friendly and professional staff. Yes it is not cheap and total price is more than I ussualy spend on diner. But it is value for money. I will be back with friends & family.

Just visited this fairy-tale restaurant for the second time in a month, this time accompanied by three vegetarians ... We decided to choose the menu formula again, it turned out that it now amounted to ⬠39 instead of ⬠29, but for this price you got a complete dish per person as main course, whereas previously this had to be shared per two. Personally, I thought the previous formula was certainly ok, but apparently there were several customers who had complained that they had returned home with a hungry stomac ... In itself, this remains absolutely value for money, but on the other hand the manager could consider the 2 formulas to co-exist: ⬠29 if the main course is shared, ⬠39 for a whole main course per person. On the other hand, you can of course still eat a la carte, so you still have the freedom to share a main course. I remain lyrical about the quality of the food and drinks (very original mixes!), the location and the welcome (see my previous review): very tasty and healthy (the vegatians were also impressed by the quality of the vegetarian, even vegan dishes), beautiful interior and very cordial and warm welcome! I am sure that this will be a stayer in the Ghent restaurant scene! Let's hope that they will adjust the menu a bit soon, because with 2 visits in a month's time we have now really tried everything from the list... ;-)

We were a late walk in and the chef/host accommodated us in a very friendly manner. The room is lovely too, like being in someone's house. No complaints there. The entree of prawn tartare was great, if a little expensive. When the mains arrived my rib eye (around â¬29 I think) was nothing more than a centimetre thick supermarket cut of meat, overpowered with pepper and accompanied by a little lettuce salad. The pasta main was good but way too busy and rich. We are happy to pay good money for food but this was disappointing beste,wij willen u graag bedanken voor uw review maar we vinden het wel heel jammer dat jullie bij ons vertrokken zijn met the big smile en vol lof om dan daarna hier op tripadvisor deze negatieve kritieken te geven.Toen ik als chef aan de tafel naast jullie aankwam hebben jullie mij inderdaad aangesproken om te zeggen hoe fantastisch het voorgerecht was.(1 voorgerecht dat jullie met 2 hebben gedeeld).Toch raar dat jullie dit nobashigerecht van 17euro duur vinden, zeker wanneer jullie dat gedeeld hebben en nog 2 bordjes gekregen hebben ook. Wat betreft de Ierse rib eye wil ik zeggen dat we steeds ongeveer 220g vlees geven en van ongeevenaarde kwaliteit is. De prijs is niet zoals u denkt 29euro maar 24,50euro!!! Wat bertreft de pasta snap ik niet zo goed wat u bedoelt eigenlijk.In ieder geval de volgende keer misschien beter even naar de kaart kijken wanneer u binnen komt om 21u30 en de prijzen checkt. Maison D is in the centre of Ronse and lovely interior. Once you enter you are welcomed by the staff that are friendly and real professional. Not only food that is delicious but very nice presented and the that comes along with the whole menu are nice. We have enjoyed every minute of it and we sure will go back.
