Clean comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Menu a little bit short of choice nothing much in the chicken dishes so decided on spring rolls for starter and salt n pepper ribs.both very nice presentation good. Chicken Cantonese and boiled rice. Very insipid onions chicken in a tasteless sauce. Beef in hot and spicy sauce, had peppers onions and beef in a very watery sauce although was quite tasty it was nothing special. All food edible. Hot and reasonable price. So a mediocre meal.

I don't understand the poor reviews on here, I've only ever had good experiences at The Lotus. Came here again for a meal last week and had a great time. The waitress was very friendly and the food was lovely. We regularly come in for a takeaway, and we always have great food and the owner is always really lovely to us. Will be returning soon!

I suppose it's one of those take aways that you go to after you've been to the pub. The food is always fresh though, however I've never been greeted with a smile or a friendly welcome. It is what it is - a takeaway, albeit a bit pricey.

We have been using the Beijing Garden for years and always been happy with the food. However recently the portion size has reduced markedly and now with much more sauce than meat. Until recently the containers were full to the top with delicious food, but now only three quarters full and with little meat content. No longer the great value it was.
