Ate here recently on an overnight to the city, good Chinese and for a Monday very brisk trade. Had some dim sum followed by pork and pak choi with egg fried rice, with a couple of beers around £30. Recommended!

Service quite fine. Duck starters good (but there again, difficult to not get right !). Very disappointed with the chicken with garlic and chilli and coriander (supposed to be 2 star hot). Very little garlic, some spring onions and I counted 4 maybe 5 minuscule rings of red chilli - no hot chilli sensation whatsoever - more like a no star hotness and nowhere close to a two. I had even specifically asked for it to be 2-star hot. Yes, I could have sent it back asking for it to be "spiced up", but have been the victim of that before with pissed-off chefs overdosing the dish in annoyance.....Chicken was very white flat discs with strange rubbery texture. Very disappointing. I actually took the dish home and jazzed it up myself the next day, and fried the chicken a little with more garlic, dash of soy sauce and chilli !

Always pop in here if I am visiting the grafton centre. The staff are always friendly and efficient. They do a special deal on a breakfast roll and a hot drink. Always busy which is a good sign!

My sisters and I have been to Noodles Plus to have dinner today.We had a variety of dishes like wonton soup, spicy pork soup, chicken soup, dumplings... All really nice and well presented!The staff was really polite, smiley and professional. Everything is homemade!! I truly recommend it! We will definitely come back!

I often go to yippee and have enjoyed many meals there but after receiving a meal which tasted vile I informed staff and was told I would have to be pay for it before I ordered anything else I obviously said no and after which was told never to come back and was spoken to rudely so I will definitely avoid going there in future .

Came on a Saturday evening as visiting Cambridge for our wedding anniversary. We found the Hakka on Tripadvisor and we are so pleased we did. I must have driven past it several times as our son was at nearby Jesus College, but never noticed it - the power of social media .....As intimated by others this is a âone man bandâ. Ok, service may not be what used are used to from chains, but it is all freshly cooked and Daniel was happy to advise on selections. Starters were superb. I can in particular recommend the crispy lamb with pancakes and the Dim Sum.Mains were equally tasty and original. The chicken satay may be too hot for some but I loved it. The barbecue pork and the prawns we had were to die for. Accompanied by special fried noodles.This is a small restaurant, maybe 32ish covers, and there is no overpowering music blasting out. And at the end Daniel kindly arranged a cab for us, and told us when it was outside.A very enjoyable and memorable meal. Thank you Daniel. When back in Cambridge we will return, deffo.
