Service is attentive. The decor of the restaurant reminded me of a sense of dignified and traditional charm. I had lunch at the restaurant. The food tastes good. What I like best is the attentiveness to details in serving the food. I appreciate the care in serving the food.

We had our first night meal here and were treated to the best food of the area. The food was washed down with excellent Beer and wine served in a really traditional atmosphere. Afurther visit during the day for lunch was equally rewarding.Do not miss this great restaurant.

Wir hatten uns das Lokal ausgesucht, weil ein laden der E-Bikes angeboten wird und wir dachten, bevor wir die Geislinger Steige hochradeln wäre ein dazuladen okay. Nach mehrmaligem nachfragen wusste dann einer der Bediener, daà man überall an die Steckdosen ran kann - gesagt getan und danke nochmal fürs laden :o)Unten im Freien zu sitzen war jedoch nicht sehr angenehm. Unter dem Dach zu heiss, endlos viele Fliegen, ein Geschirrwagen der überquoll und eine megaaa lange Schlange oben an der Ausgabe der Selbstbedienung. Alles andere als gut organisiert und leider viel zu lange Wartezeiten, hier muss unbedingt was geändert werden finden wir. Der Wurstsalat war üppig und gut und zur Abgabe des Bierkrugs mussten wir nochmals anstehen - ein NO GO !!!!!!!

So stellt man sich ein gut bürgerliches Restaurant in einem eher verschlafenen Ort vor. Nette Bedienung, gute Auswahl an Speisen, ordentliche Portionen. Der Beilagensalat alleine wäre wo anders schon eine Hauptspeise. Dazu hat er noch richtig gut geschmeckt. Die Fleischgerichte in unserer Gruppe waren ausnahmslos groà und super gelungen. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

The hotel I was staying at was closed one evening and they recommended this place to eat at as it is only 200 metres away. The food and drink were excellent & staff helpful & friendly.

We visited two days in a row on the Valentine's day weekend.The first night we went a la carte, which means that you can chose items for starter, main and dessert from the different fixed menus. Both, the vegetarian as well as the non-veg options are as delicious as you would expect it from a restaurant of this class and price. The main dishes are not tiny, but also not very big. It is recommended to order a start if you can in hungry.On the second day we went for the Valentine's day special menu. They were so friendly to offer a vegetarian menu, although it wasn't part of the Valentine's deal and they even put into consideration that my girlfriend already had vegetarian options yesterday.The menu was fantastic, every course was a delight. My only complaint is the speed of service. We had to wait very long for every single course. One of the fish starter was even cold, when it reached the table. This shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this class, that's why only a 4-rating, although everything else was great.
