I'm honestly surprised at the bad reviews, we had amazing experience here. The food was plenty and delicious, fresh and well-presented and creatively seasoned. I'm not a big fan of Hungarian food but I absolutely loved it. The harcsapaprikas I ordered came with home-made pasta and cottage cheese, it tasted fantastic. They were super kind to our friend's dog, offered him water too. Staff was kind and knowledgeable and the interior was beautiful. Absolutely recommended.

When you have found something really special - you want to keep the secret for yourself, and not share with everyone else. Just because it's your own special secret place.If you're on vacation in Balatonlelle, or staying on another side of Balaton Lake, or just passing by on autobahn and looking for a pitstop - drop everything and put Vitorlás Ãtterem on your roadmap. Our party of 7 enjoyed our time very much. The service was excellent (many of the waitstaff spoke English and the menu was in Hungarian, English and German).We sat out in the garden which was beautiful. The food was excellent & you must try their own wine, made right onsite. Lovely time!

This is the third or fourth time we have visited The Torony and it has always impressed. From the warmth of the welcome to the fantastic, freshly prepared food it is always a great meal.The menus are presented in multi languages and you have the option to eat inside or outside (covered)But best of all has to be the prices, a meal for 4, starters, mains and drinks about £70If you are in Fonyod, The Torony is definitely worth a visit

Small family restaurant with beautiful atmosphere and great food. Nice staff, reasonable prices. The patron is very polite. Duck breast and Szegedin goulash were delicious. Only few tables and parking places. We were there in April. In summer it could be difficult to get a table.

We visited the place with the family and friends. As we did not book in advance they did not have a table in the garden area but made place for the eight of us inside. The staff is very friendly and service is quick. They have a wide selection of Hungarian style food and they are all nicely prepared and delicious. Next time we will make sure to book in advance to enjoy the fresh air outside.

Katica Restaurant is a well frequented, cosy place on the shore of lake Balaton in Badacsony. The place is owned by a family, the stuff and the service is very nice. The food is literally in front of you within seconds and prices are frendly too. You can choose between the indoor and terrace tables and bring your children with you if you like. Higly recommended place if you want to spend a lovely meal with your family or friends.

Glad to have our motorcycle to climb the hill(some ppl were walking!- yay for them). Enjoyed a perfect lunch with sweeping views as we gobbled up the chefâs platter ( charcuterie) with mounds of tasty cheese, meats, dried fruit and yummy bread, etc. we had the pea soup and the goulash soup. I have been at least 50 times at this restaurant . Very good food, looks very nice. It could reach almost a Michelin star, which is rare here around Keszthely. Very nice staff.
