This place is amazing! Great tasting food, with only fresh quality ingredients, Deluxe burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches, to die for fish and chips. Oh and the poutines (pulled porc, vegetarian ect...) So much to choose from. They have their alcohol permit so tap beer, red or white wine or if you prefer 3 different flavors of milk shakes.... The decor is very modern with garage doors that open to the street and flat screen TV. Prices are very reasonable considering the food being served.Lastly the staff and the service. This place totally stands out in this department. The owners are always there to greet you, enquire about your opinion on the food or just for a quick chat. Very friendly people! Will be seeing you soon.Katia

Bagel Ste-Rose

No wonder the bagels were so fresh and tasty; they make their own and serve them with a variety of cream cheese. Coffee? Pick the one you like and serve yourself at the small coffee bar. Indeed, this bistro-style neighborhood restaurant does things a little differently. Mind you, the cash only concept is inconvenient. We loved the decor, the well-sheltered terrace out back, the perky atmosphere and the cheerful service. The breakfast dishes come with a generous portion of fresh fruit, but in the case of the waffles, it could have been the other way around; the waffles were on the smallish side. In short, it is a comfy and happy place, ideal for a leisurely late breakfast or lunch with friends.

L'Ardoise

If you are looking for a trendy pub atmosphere with great food, then give this place a shot. Daily specials offer something different than your average burger and fries. We were a table of 8 and everyone enjoyed their choices from the onion soup with onion ring, Tao battered fish on Asian salad, veal chops and salmon tartare. The donuts served in a paper bag with dip was a hit as well. Dinner for 2 with drinks and tip was $85.

On Thanksgiving Monday we were going to TuttiFrutti for breakfast because our grandchildren love their chocolate crepes. You can imagine our surprise when we found out that the place was now Au Petit Chalet. Much to the displeasure of the young ones, we decided to give the place a try... Excellent, excellent choice. One of our grandchildren summed it up nicely...This is like a cabane à sucre(sugar shack)...plenty of homemade food, maple syrup (more needed) good pancakes and crepes, beans .. copious portions, great choices served up with a smile. The young folk have voted:This is definitely a keeper and they want to go back when they visit QC.

. . . my dear Watson. Different in concept and modern in design, the sun-drenched terrace and brightly lit restaurant is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise humdrum world of breakfast options. Recent renovations have given it back some of its former lustre. While they claim to serve one of the best bowls of latté in town, and they do, it is also the most expensive one. It is a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee with one of their tasty croissants, maybe one of their many temping sweets, or to linger with friends over a late breakfast. Mind you, a change of menu would be welcome; the current one has done its time, we think. If this review has been helpful, please let me know by clicking on Thank below.

It all starts at the valet.....the service was delightful. Food was amazing. Best part of the evening....the service. Our waiter Maxence was superb. He was knowledgeable of the entire menu and his suggestions were perfection. Ambience and music were great! This was, hands down, the best all around service I've experienced in a very long time! Definitely coming back!

Everything is excellent except the service or I should say the absence of service.Food is excellent, presentation is very nice, atmosphere "du marché" very cosy! May be if they hire a extra server it can be fun!Thank you for your kind words. We are very sorry that your experience regarding service was not optimal. It is not usual as you can see from our reviews. We continue to strive to maintain the highest possible standards. Our business is still booming and we are doing everything possible to adapt to this reality, and yes that includes adding staff :-). We hope that you will give us another chance and that the next experience will be to your, and our, standards. Sincerely!

This little breakfast place is worth visiting. It has a small terrace and enough inside space to ensure year-round comfort. The food and service (while very business-like) is quite good and we have put it on our return list for the winter. You will probably not be disappointed if you give the Reveil Matin a try in the coming months!Thank you very much for this great comment. It's so motivating for our entire team! We hope to see you soon!;)

We tried this restaurant on a sunday me and 2 friends and we all loved the place. We got a table outside and service was quick. We ordered some fresh orange juice, which is very refreshing! We all got different plates just so we could try a bit of everything. Some dishes were either dry or simply lacking flavor. The outside seating was basically what we like the most...and the fresh juice! I will deff try some other places before going back.
