Pulled off the road on our way between Montreal and Quebec for lunch and stumbled across this restaurant in an otherwise unremarkable shopping plaza. The food was terrific, but what really made it memorable was the service. Our server noticed that we were tourists, and not only made us feel comfortable in a non-touristy area but insisted that we take a look at the brochures in the entryway, and offered suggestions to us.

This is an interesting location for a lively dinner venue. The bar service is a little slow but once you get to a table, service gets a lot better. We were here for a business dinner and the conversation level was perfect. Although its a busy place, there is no need to yell. The food is typical bar style fare but on a little higher level than some of the other local bar style restaurants in that area. I must admit, I was shocked when I walked into the washroom and looked up to see everyone in the dining room. Talk about the potential for stage fright. This you have to experience for yourself!

My daughter who is Mcgill student brought our family of 5 to this place on a rainy Friday morning introducing it as the best brunch in Montreal. It might be true for students who like big portions and very compact seating. For a mature adult to walk for 30 minutes from downtown and wait 30 minutes in the rain to get in is a bit extreme experience. Or at least you expect culinary masterpieces there to justify everything one come through before getting to the table. What can i say. Avocado toast with egg benedict was good, but not more. There was a big salad on the side. Chia pudding with fresh strawberry was included in the dish and was nice to complete the meal. Once we get into the restaurant the service was quick and friendly. Be prepared to spend around 30 dollars per person incl. taxes and tips, if you do not share food. The thing that impressed me most of all was the ice water with water melon flavor that they always serve for each customer in North America. It was a very simple thing to put fresh water melons in the tank with ice water on display for customers, but that simple thing made the visit very special.

Great tasting home made pizza, never frozen. The subs are freshly cooked and prepared on the spot. Friendly and fast service. Home delivery is a great option!

Went there with my family for a Sunday breakfast and we were disappointed as much with the food as with the service. The crepes we ordered (chocolate and banana) came in huge plates, but without any garnish (but they charge over $9 for each!). When I asked the waitress about this, she said it was the way the plate came, and rudely walked away.First and last time there.

We were a party of 8, we had a really great time at Scores. Everybody's food was excellent and hot. Our waitress was really funny making jokes with us. There's a salad bar, with soup, different kind of salads and veggies. Restaurant was not too crowded, but we had a reservation.

This restaurant keeps a very high standard no matter which one I have attended. The food, staff and ambiance is always great. It's fairly quiet so quite appropriate to dine with friends. Booths, tables and bar seating are available. It is a steak house and a good one at that. Many others have tried to imitate Baton Rouge with similar menus and prices but they don't quite reach the mark.

Context: Wednesday night, a rainy evening, and we (mid 60 year old couple) wanted to have dinner out at the last minute. We book an early table at 6pm thinking this will be simple. We got there and were seated promptly in this chic bistro with a beautiful wine fridge which spans the back wall. The service was quick and attentive. We were seated a few tables from a group of 10 or 12 which seemed pretty tame so i thought nothing of it. We were served our appetizers and wine fairly promptly. They have an innovative way of serving wine by the glass; 1, 3 or 5 ounce portions. Interesting! The soup and the boudin with duck magret were very, very good. After the first service, the wheels fell off. Another group of 10 walked in on our other side and we were sandwiched. The first group now had their wine and another 2 persons sat right beside us. The sound level went ballistic. There is no way we could talk without yelling at each other.Of course, the service slowed down, taxed by the new arrivals. It took a long time to get our main course. The steak was very good but the scallops and ris de veau ordinary. With the place very full and noisy enough to wake the dead, they decided to play music, the only part of which we could make out was the thundering base.As we attempted to pay and leave, our server was impossible to catch so we asked the first person we could find to get us our bill which he did promptly. And we got out as fast as we could to get out of this capharnaum. If you like noisy bistros, this will take it to a new level. Mid to high range prices with decent food make it attractive. We will not go back in the evening. Our age may be blamed for our resentment of a loud atmosphere but this was worse than tolerable. We believe that the scheduling of a bunch of arrivals at the same time perturbs their service beyond reason and should be better managed and avoided if they want to serve their customers well.Hello, We thank you for taking the time to write to us and describe your evening. We are sorry to read that the experience did not live up to your expectations. We take note of your comment about the noise level in the restaurant and we will forward your concerns to the team. Hoping to have the opportunity to greet you again. Thank you
