We have been here before and it was excellent for breakfast/brunch.However each morning we tried to eat here it was full of single people on their lap tops using the free wifi and making their latte last all morning. The same people were still there an hour later as we came by. There should be a policy for moving people on and getting more people to pay.

I am a frequent visitor of restaurant De Jonckheer and usually I leave very satisfied ... but this time I was hugely disappointed by their signature dish, the Sate Ossenhaas. The meat was ridiculously raw and, combined with some lesser quality pieces, I left half of it on the plate. Also the service was poor: when asked how the food was and I replied that the meat was uncooked he said âokâ and ... just left without any further follow up!So why not an even worse rating? De Jonckheer remains one of the coziest establishments in Zeist and the personal touch of the owner is another argument not to give a lower score.
