Reviews on Cafe food in South Holland Province, The Netherlands. Encompassing two of the Netherlands’ three largest cities (Rotterdam and The Hague), Zuid-Holland (South Holland) is also home to important towns like Leiden, Gouda and Delft. And many lovely smaller towns dot the gorgeous green landscape. Alphen aan den Rijn has several interesting attractions, including Dutch history theme park Archeon. Picturesque Kinderdijk, birthplace of the legend of the Cat and the Cradle, also has many windmills that together are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Great food, great hospitality, great beer. A couple of hours after arriving in Rotterdam, we found this cafe for dinner. Immediately the staff made us feel at home working through the menu and recommending beers. The food was sensational, croquettes, fish and chips and stewed beef. All reasonably priced too. A must visit when in Rotterdam.

We choose this place for breakfast, mainly because of all the praise it has received. Location is brilliant, and the tables on the barge are just lovely. Staff was busy, but friendly and helpful. Coffee was good, juice fresh and tasteful. The renowned broodjes was in our opinion a disappointment.. They were not bad, but nothing we'll come back to experience another time. But a nice place and for our little boy the child menu with a toy was exciting.

Stopped in Sunday morning (7/14/19) to get a bite to eat with my wife. We ordered coffee and a meal. Coffee arrived and then we waited for over 30min for our food, which was never served. Not once did the server check on us. 3 or 4 different tables were served that arrived well after us. I noticed a meal that looked like ours on the back countertop of their kitchen getting cold for the last 10minutes before we finally got fed up, paid for the coffee, headed down the street to another café.Dear D. Buran, I am very sorry to hear that had a very bad experience. Thanks for sharing it with us. We are doing our utmost best to serve every guest in the best way possible which has not been done during your visit. 30 minutes indeed is way too long. We will share your review with our employees so they can learn from it.Kind regards,Jasper
