Wir kommen hier oft fuer ein kurzes Essen wie Schnitzel oder Kochkaese/Wurstplatte her, da die Kids drauÃen spielen können (Schaukel, Minigolf, Rutsche). Zudem gibt es Cevapcici, Bratwurst ..., also bürgerliches Essen.Die Preise sind Top!

Zunächst das Wichtigste: Das Frühstück:Das Rührei war ohne Würze, die Brötchen bzw. Croissant sehr üblich, nichts Besonderes, nicht besonders schmackhaft. Insgesamt mussten wir 40 Minuten auf das Frühstück warten. Die Bedienung war mit der Situation leider überfordert, obwohl die wenigen AuÃentische bzw. Innentische eine sehr überschaubare Personenanzahl darstellte ... da sind wir andere GröÃenordnungen gewohnt. In keiner Weise ein Ort zum Entspannen und GenieÃen - sorry!

Well, I have been to Cafe Schmitt very often in the past and I really liked it, because it was with old furniture etc. which gave it a nice atmosphere, but now they modernised it and that's a shame.Well, the cakes there a good! You have a good choice of cakes. The food in the restaurant is okay too. But I prefered the cafe before the renovations. If you want to enjoy a cake in Bensheim, it's the place to go. If you want to enjoy food, then other places are better!But it's worth a try!

There is not much food on offer here, but we went for drinks and desert. We had lovely freshly made crêpes and the two ladies working behind the bar were very sweet indeed. They don't speak English. For me I speak German anyway so it's not an issue but just be aware that if you do want something particular it's probably quite hard to explain it . I would definitely return because it's cheap and cheerful and inside a lots of cute antics a nice decor.

Im Herzen Bensheims gibt es eine wunderschöne Bar mit guten Drinks, leckerem Essen, cooler Musik und einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre.

Having spent a lot of time in Bensheim's cafes, I really appreciate the prime location in town, solicitous service (the waitress remembered my preferred order after only one visit!) & at time of posting I think it's the only place in town with free wi-fi which is worth it's weight in gold, or latte macchiatos).
