My daughter and I love coming here, we treat ourselves to a pot of tea (I usually have the peppermint one) and a piece of cake. The staff are always friendly and the tea and cakes are delicious. Highly recommend visiting.

Went here for my wifeâs 30th birthday for brunch. We were a party of 6 adults and one baby (in her push chair). The staff seemed slightly âannoyedâ we had turned up. There were only about 5/6 other diners there... the staff were rude and slightly aggressive. My wife retuned here smoothly as it was so sour it was undrinkable. We asked our waitress to try it. She did, and agreed, but said we will still have to pay for it. In a nutshell.. overpriced and rude staff. Just go to Ascot grill opposite them. At least they smile!

This is a brilliant place and right on my doorstep. Visited for first time today and was amazed. Really nicely furnished, plenty of room, outside tables also. Dog friendly wit treats provided. Nice lady serving. Great range of home made cakes, fresh coffee and tea. Light meals look lovely so will return.

We have been meaning to try Eliane for a while - it's a mini Ottolenghi and a fantastic healthy option. The salad selection is delicious; we had pea and mint crush, a sort of lentil dahl, green beans, sweet potato and more. The all day breakfasts are also great; avocado, salmon and poached eggs plus the Eliane breakfast with amazing scrambled eggs. The only thing I'd question is the price of the smoothies, as at £6 each that adds up for a family of four. We will return but will stick to water.We are delighted that you have visited us at our Sunningdale branch and thank you for your great comments.. We pride ourselves in providing delicious and imaginative dishes that are wholesome and healthy using only the highest quality ingredients... With this in mind we believe that our freshly made juices and smoothies are competively priced as we use locally sourced and organic ingredients... We were meant to be going to lunch across the way but stumbled upon Fego and decided to go there instead. We were treated to excellent service and food. The menu was wide ranging and had something for everyone. The brunch and breakfast menu looked equally enticing. We visited Longacres Garden Centre and we always use the Caffe Amore for either a relaxing coffee which is a lovely tasting smooth coffee or for lunch. Their meals are varied as what you would expect from an Italian venue. They cater for breakfasts too and a range of childrens choices. Its spacious and kept very clean. If your ever passing its always a good stop off plus the garden centre has an abundance of goods not just plants. Well worth a visit as at the moment they have a sandpit play area for the kids too.

I visited the new Roost in Godalming.The old toy shop on Wharf Street has been redecorated into a very nice Cafe, with a great space at the back with long tables that is perfect for a mums and toddlers get-together.An interesting menu full of the ingredients of the new wave of healthy eating (quinoa, beans, buckwheat and matcha, to mention a few) promised much.The execution, sadly, was extremely disappointing.I ordered smashed avocado on sourdough toast with a poached egg for an eye watering £8.What was served (see photo) was mixed in presentation, with thinly sliced radish and baby greens adding flair, whilst streaks of grease took away the appeal.The eating was awful. The sourdough bread used was so old that it had crisped to the consistency of brittle honeycomb on toasting and shattered when cut, and the poached egg was stone cold which took away all the appeal to continue eating after the first bite.There is also far superior coffee to be had elsewhere in Godalming.I was totally underwhelmed by this very expensive new cafe.Thank you for your review. I am so sorry to hear that we disappointed you on this visit. As we only opened 3 weeks ago, we are very happy to receive your feedback and endeavour to do better. I appreciate you taking the time to help us improve. There are a few things we have I feel need to communicate more effectively to our customers from this feedback. First is that we are a fully gluten-free cafe based on healthy, plant-based eating with nutritious sources of protein and fats. In the case of the meal you have had, we use gluten-free sourdough bread sourced from a specialty bakery in London called Rana's. It is a brilliant product that people who cannot consume gluten especially love. But for those who don't need to avoid gluten, this bread is much different than normal sourdough in that the crust is much more crunchy and if over-toasted, a I feel it may have been in this instance, it does go more brittle than normal bread. I have already discussed this with the staff and explained the disappointment you have expressed and the need to do better. The herb-infused extra-virgin olive oil they use to brush the toast looks to have been dribbled a bit on the plate and I have reviewed with the staff taking care to create a good presentation.I do hope that you will give us another try. And please, if you are not happy with your meal, please return it to one of our members of team who will always be more than happy to rectify any concerns and remake any dish you are not fully satisfied with on the spot. We have a wonderful group of people working there and they are only too happy to help you. We love to meet our customers and we strive to build a strong community link between our staff and customers, so please if you do visit again, share any concerns with us.
