Me and my wife are regular visitors to the White House cafe Newbiggin. The food is always delicious and fresh and very filling, the daily specials are excellent value for money only £4.00 for the main lunch and a homemade pudding usually rice or fruit crumble and custard, I can also recommend the hot beef chicken or pork and stuffing Yorkshire pudding wraps and the bacon sandwiches. They also have a mean baked potatoe with a host of lovely fillings. They now deliver and have introduced lamb as a choice of the Sunday meat choice for the Sunday dinners also delicious and very good value for money. Try it you will not be disappointed.Thank you Michael for your kind words,it is always a,pleasure to see you,at the whitehouse cafe,

A friend and I called in for a fry up and a coffee. Place was empty but soon filled up. Latte was disappointing as it was stone cold! Was given another hotter one, breakfast arrived about 15 minutes later. 2 Bacon, two sausage, fried egg, beans, black pudding, mushrooms and it said grilled tomato but it was tinned! Also 2 slices of soggy fried bread, very disappointed, food was good quality but swimming in grease! Also very cold in the cafe, freezing outside but not much warmer inside, sat with our coats on. Lovely views from the huge windows but could do a lot better in the food department.

Micah's is a family run Grade II listed tea room in the attractive market town of Morpeth in Northumberland. Meet with friends or family, inside or out in our (sometimes) sunny courtyard, but above all have the memorable experience of great value food and
This is a lovely, intimate tearoom with a small garden area neat the clocktower. Offers soups, sandwiches, cakes, pastries, scones and full meals many of which are Gluten free which is to be commended. Service is welcoming and friendly. The fittings are quirky with a retro feel and it is as pleasant on a warm sunny day as a cold winters one. We have been here on both.Hi and thanks for taking the time to write your comments. We are a little off the beaten track for Morpeth. But head for the clock tower at the end of the High Street and on the left of Oldgate you'll find us at number 13. Teapots hanging outside! We do offer homemade soups and fresh sandwiches and our Gluten Free and Vegan ranges are every increasing...Very quirky style but we like it. Come see us again soon.

We are a licensed restaurant open 9-5 7 days a week. Our menu includes full English breakfasts.. home cooked meals.. a traditional Sunday roast and more
Hardly a restaurant more a cafe food very small portions ,basic bland food not even home made yorkshire puddings, sausages weren't cooked properly and they were very poor quality Salad was dry no dressing, vegetables were fresh but not even proper gravy, such a shame cause it would be nice to have a good restaurant to go to,we went to a cafe in the village called the whitehouse food was better quality and half the price, would not recommend or visit again.Hi KateThankyou for taking the time to review us on trip advisor as well..As I said in my response to the review you also left on google if you had mentioned your disappointment when you were asked if everything was ok it could have been dealt with there and thenBest Regards Michele

Quaint, traditional English Tea Room with home baking at the heart of the business. Serving breakfast, lunches and afternoon teas with a table licence for wines and beers. All food including our delicious traditional scones and cakes are cooked and served
Beautiful little cafe, cosy and clean. Very friendly staff taking orders. The quiche was delicious - home made - huge slice too. For an extra £1.00 my husband opted for a jacket potato with it. My daughters loved their lunches too. I had a warm sultana scone which was light and delicious. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and will definitely call again when next in Morpeth. Highly recommend.

OPEN ALMOST EVERY DAY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR [Closed 21st to 25th December] Hours: 8:30am â 4:30pm Daily
After a few hours walking the wonderful, wind-swept Druridge Bay we were in need of a hot drink and something to eat. The Drift Cafe is located just outside of Cresswell and was recommended to us.From the outside it looks like a large transport cafe and inside it didn't have much of an atmosphere, although seemed very popular. The staff were not overly friendly, but our order of drinks and food was brought speedily. My wife had an aprocot and vanilla scone, while I tried their bap filled with haggis, black pudding, bacon and egg - the choice being based more on it being a challenge than for its nutritional content. The scone and bap were both OK but probably wouldn't choose them again. There are no menus on the tables with customers having to view choices from meues on a wall. The Drift Cafe is dog-friendly.
