Jaffa Av is such a fantastic stop for tourists and locals. The shop was filled with locals when I came, seems to be the big hit for working folks in the nearby offices. The host, Francisco, is kind, funny, gives great traveling tips and speaks flawless english. His business was inspired by a trip to Israel. The food is a surprisingly delightful Guatemalan and Israeli fusion. He refuses to make anything that doesn't taste good enough or similar enough (due to limited Guatemalan materials). This is huge: a lot of places will make bad imitations in order to sell-out. He only offers food options when he masters it. He is a true foodie, great host, and fantastic chef. Really nothing special, just a good solid meal. The OJ was fantastic though. The "sunny patio" is very small and located very close to the bathroom and laundry, so it is not real fresh-air smelling. My server was quick and polite and the food came out quickly. Avocado on the menu is "avocado cream", not fresh avocado. Very easy to find, just up the hill a bit from the Central Plaza.
