Woluwe-Saint-Lambert (French pronunciation: [wolywe sɛ̃ lɑ̃bɛːʁ]) or Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe (Dutch, pronounced [sɪnt ˈlɑmbrɛxts ˈʋoːlyʋə] ( listen)) is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. It is a prosperous residential area, with a mixture of flats and detached, semi-detached and terraced houses, often compared with Uccle (Ukkel in Dutch), another affluent Brussels municipality, and the 14th or 17th arrondissement in Paris.

French-Belgian cuisine with fine service. We had lunch and ordered a number of main dishes only. My codfish was fresh and accompanied by fresh vegetables. Since it didn't come with any sauce the plate tried to emphasize the natural flavor of each of the ingredients. In this respect the fish, for my taste, lacked a bit of flavor. The second dish ordered by one of us was a chicken in estragon sauce. That was quite tasty. Another dish ordered was the Irish filet mignot. This was mediocre! The sauce was fine yet the meat was not tender at all. The grilled chicken with French fries was served with a sauce tartar. In general the restaurant's concept is fine - we had bad luck with the meat. The waiter was fantastic and really did everything possible to ensure we would enjoy the lunch even offering to further cook the filet mignot. Service was 5 stars, the codfish and filet mignot 3.5 starts, the chicken estragon 4 stars.

We first had lunch here to test it, and it was much appreciaed, with a special mention for the fish cooked to perfection.Following this good experience we then booked for 14 peopleThe Chef was very kind and accomodating in helping us set this evening up.The group had the summer menu of 3 courses, (we asked the participants to choose their dishes in advance) and the food was very goodThe setting is also very nice.

I came here for a business event. I was impressed by their remembering and accommodating dietary restrictions (e.g., no meat). I also liked the atmosphere. The food was well-presented and the portions were of appropriate size. I liked the bread rolls and overall was happy with the meal, which - as some others have said - was good but not great. Some things came too slowly - for example, at the end I left without drinking my tea because it took so long to arrive. It might be better to have something other than raw fish for amuse-bouche, something that's more universally eaten and liked. The ravioli that came with the starter were a bit tough - the dough could have been softer and thinner. My fish dish was generously sized and the fish was not overcooked (though not spectacular), and the vegetables were a bit undercooked (maybe intentionally?). The service was correct.

I am sorry to mark poor rating for overpricing on sparking water no matter how good at the cooking. The one litre SPA costed me 10 euro but the same one in supermarket is selling at 0.62 euro. It’s multiple 16 times. Does it make sense? Maybe your restaurant was starred but frankly speaking it’s not my first time to try similar quality restaurant even much famous and better. Even famous hotel , Mandarin oriental hotel , it’s grill house priced their wine in multiple 3-5 only. Usually, I trust the professionalism in the restaurant and such that I didn’t check the price and to follow the suggestion. Also, I don’t expect such overwhelming price of water in Brussels. It won’t be happened in Paris and London. I am quite disappointed for it to make comment here!!! The staff serviced well with good suggestion on wine pairing with the starter. Impressive. One point is to remind that tuna is not fresh enuf. The main course for the pork is cooked well but the curry sauce with peanut seems not intense , not Thai, not japan, not India one. Cannot tell how it taste indeed. The side dish esp. the potato is pan well, crunchy surface and soft inside. Dessert is ok.MerciDear KidultCoolfirst of all... ouf, the food was good, and you had a relative Pleasant lunch (at least it's what you said when you left the restaurant.About the pork, it's absolutely not a curry sauce (neither japonese, indian, nor thai, nor either part of the world), just a classical french Brown jus with some peanuts butter and chinese saté Inside… Nothing more ;-)Then, thanks for the 2 stars rate for your good moment in our restaurant! ;-) (it's ironic, just in case if you do not understand) your comment about the price of water gives me a platform for some explanations:your emotion is understandable, but your argument is somewhat truncated …Let's start from the premise that a restaurant is a for-profit company and that its goal is to make profit (in the preamble, know that it is the same prices everywhere in Brussels in this type of establishment .. and that it is cheaper than in Paris)First of all: we do not sold it really 10€, in fact it's 8.26 €, the rest is the value Added tax (1.73€) like mentionned on your photo … we call that the TVA and it's directly for the State ;-) Secundly, after delivering in the restaurant, water costs us around 1.20€ … yes our provider doesn't work for free (he has to pay his employees, his truck, fuel, tax, and so…) --> yes we have a ratio of 6.8 for the water… but It's quite less than in Paris where water is cheapest in supermarket (they have no tax on water in France, like we have in Belgium) and where the sold it on higher price, like Shangri-la (8€ for 1/2 l (5€ in the Stirwen) 11€ for a liter … and with a VAT of 10% (21% in Belgium) to summarizeBelgium : buy 1.20€ (vat excluded) --> 8.26€ (vat ex) => 10€ (vat included) the price you payFrance : buy 0.55€ (vat excluded) --> 10 €( vat excluded) => 11 € (vat included) the price you payDid you really imagine one second that a restaurant will really sell a bottle of water at 2€ (multiple x3.5) and earns less than 1.20€ for giving you a 100% cotton toppings, tablecloth,, high level porcelain and cutlery, three kinds of fresh bread, two kinds of butter (from local craftsmen), organic olive oil …noooo you are too smart to Believe the opposite ;-)since you stayed more than one hour at table (and it's our pleasure to se you having good time) … since you were not in a crownded restaurant with no napkins where they Don't allow you to stay long time because they want to sell the table a second time and give you frozen industrial bread and butter (which has only butter in the name) … and where they finally sell you water at 8€ .. me personnaly, I prefer giving 2more euros! For your information, It's the same argumentation about the coffee/tea thing (And just in case of… my average multiple for wines is around 2,5 ;-) ;-) )It was a pleasure

We visited it few times as it is pretty close to us. It looks clean and nice. Service was also surprisingly fast. Dessert took a bit longer, but the reason was we had one more comlpicated dish. I always opted for a beef and it was always nicely rose. Friends were pretty happy also with their fish. It is classical place for a good meals (and not gourmet). It has also average pricing, keeping in mind good quality.

This was our fourth visit to l'Auberg'in. We came away from our other visits sometimes very pleased, sometimes disappointed. Mixed feelings, but that obviously did not stop us from returning.Pleasant welcome in this warm, "cottage-y" ambiance restaurant in the Woluwe St. Pierre district of Brussels. Nice table for four opposite the blazing fireplace, which is also used for grilling purposes. Very good service. Full on a Thursday evening, so be sure to make reservations well ahead. The only draw-back are the uncomfortable chairs.Quite extensive à la carte options, both as entrées and main courses. Also a 4 course menu at a reasonable €44. I tried the salade de langoustines as a starter, which was nicely presented, but didn't taste much of langoustines. The head waiter had enthusiastically recommended the noisettes d'agneau (as it was lamb season), grilled on afore-mentioned open fire. Excellent choice, perfectly grilled.Rather modest wine list, but as this is not a high-flying restaurant, you don't need a high-flying wine either. We tried a St. Joseph from the Rhône Valley and everyone at the table commented on its good quality and perfect match to the lamb.Desserts are always very much a matter of individual taste and can be disappointing. This was the case for us. Nothing special. In summary, nice ambiance, very good service, nice food, reasonably priced and not too loud. Perfect for an evening out with friends.

We have tried to visit this restaurant before but got turned away as we didn't have a reservation then. This time around we made sure we reserve our table and sure enough, this place was really packed to the brim at dinner time !It's hidden in a quiet street in this suburb in Brussels but nonetheless is serving very impressive high quality dishes. We are very happy wth our respective selection of lamb and magret de canard (duck). They have a set menu of 3 courses at a reasonable 29.50. But as we fancied one of the appetizers but didn't want the full menu, we were delighted that they allow ala carte ordering of the dish on the menu too.Services were top notch quality and very attentive waiters. We will definitely return again.
