A converted pub on the South Side of the main street in Birtley.Arrived for opening on Saturday lunchtime and a shame that some of the old bleach smells of pubs were hanging around.Very quiet. Happy hour menu priced higher than currently shown online. Food was good with 2 courses for £9.95. Enjoyed houmous starter whilst my Mum obviously thought she was in an Italian and went for the potato skins option they offered. Both good.Both enjoyed chicken shish mains with rice/salad plus an extra of saute potatoes.All good enough and our waitress was pleasant.

Visited here last week and it was honestly one of the best meals Iâve eaten in a long time. Food was absolutely faultless and beautifully cooked. The venue is clean and very well organised and the staff are wonderful. My partner and I were served by a young gentleman named Patrick and he made us feel so at home and gave us brilliant recommendations.Myself and my partner have already spoken about booking for a birthday coming up as thereâs something for everyone to enjoy.
