We've selected Re di Puglia because it'smember of the "Slow Food" Community and is recommended in the "Osterie d'Italia" guide.It's a farm house outside Pisa, next to the Pisa/NATO airport. You'll sit on a nice terrace where you can observe how the cooks are preparing your meat (big barbeque). Yes, the arriving aircrafts can be a bit loud - but the food is fore sure one of the better choices in the Tuscany.The "chef of service" is very friendly and even the menu is in Italian only he'll help you out in case you don't know the language.The Antipasti were very nice. First they bring you some home-made Ricotta with some grilled bread, then we had an exelent selction of mixed meat (ham) and cheese from the goat plus some mixed crostinies. For pasta we selected some kind of Ravioli filled with Ricotta cheese and some Gnocci with Zuchini. For main course we've shared a perfect Tagliata from horse meat with some grilled potatoes. As a finish we selected a cake of pear in chocolate sauce and a peach cake. Including water, a glass of red wine and some soft drinks we've paid ⬠69.00 for two persons.NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED!!!I can really recommend this place for good food and friendly service.

After living in Argentina for two years we werenât sure what to expect when we learned about this Argentine restaurant in the middle of Livorno. Daniel and his team have created a truly authentic experience with food that makes you feel like you are in Buenos Aires or Mendoza. The restaurant is upscale but they were so kind to our child under 2 and made us feel at home. First we enjoyed the free amuse-bouche âEl Artisaâ ragu appetizer on toast, then we ordered the empanadas which were very good. Along with the house wine we ordered the Parillia for 2, and the âAngusâ cut was the tastiest steak weâve had since we left Argentina. They got it right. There was an amazing amount of food for the price and the service was friendly and welcoming- we even had a limoncello on the house at the end. Parking can be difficult on the street but there is a lot around the corner and if you need help call ahead and he will clear a space for you. They also have live music every Saturday. Weâll definitely visit again!

We made a reservation for dinner but when we arrived at the restaurant it did not appear there was a place to check-in. We finally got the bartender's attention and eventually someone seated us. It was a ten minute process. Once seated it was another 15 minutes before a server greeted us. Once he took our order the service and food was very nice. They appear to cater more to local clientele and aren't too interested in tourists.

We ate dinner here tonight and we had a wonderful evening. The staff were friendly with excellent English and the food was delicious. We sat outside in a gorgeous courtyard on a balmy night. Just magic. I had the steak with balsamic, Parmesan and pine nuts and it was perfectly cooked with soooo much flavour. Hubby had the sliced bistecca with truffles which was generous and delicious. The sides of roast potatoes and mixed salad were yummy too. Highly recommend this little gem.

We stopped by chance, and we met an excellent bean soup, flavoury noodles "Antonio's way", and a real and most delicate crème caramel. Everybody else were there for barbecues, very attractive but over budget for us (45 kg ⬠Florentine). Price: medium, suitable with the quality (about ⬠10 a first course, ⬠15 for meat)

The restaurant is hosted in a fantastic Medieval Hall of Villa il Poggione in the hills, near the FIPILI highway exit Vicarello. The historic atmosphere makes the place unique in Tuscany. The chef uses only the highest quality raw materials. Excellent win

Location bellissima. Sono costretta a dare 3 stelle, non per il cibo, ma per il servizio. Non si può permettere ad un cameriere di prendere le ordinazioni a memoria, infatti 2 piatti ci sono arrivati sbagliati. Uno lo abbiamo rimandato indietro âlâaltro lo abbiamo mangiato senza fare polemica.Normalmente ho visto che le ordinazioni venivano prese con il tablet, a noi a memoria e questo ci ha provocato un forte disagio Il cibo seppur sbagliato che ci è arrivato era buono. We came here due to the good rating on Tripadvisor and were really happy. We had no reservation so the owner apologized we only could get a table inside. Which was completely fine as we were really close to the gigantic pizza oven and the grill. So we could observe the chef putting large chunks of meat on the fire. Great! As for the food, three of us had pizza and only me had the meat, which was great. With the pizza I immediately noted how good the mozzarella tasted. My son now says it's the best pizza he has ever tasted. Don't be fooled by the look from outside. The place looks like a cheap bar, but it's like with a book, don't judge it by its cover. Really recommended.
