It's not in America, but offers the most gorgeous burger; it's not in Germany, but serves the best beer. It's Pub Monkey in Teramo, Abruzzo, a place you may enjoy UNESCO food in UNESCO park!A local brought me here on my very first day in Italy and I took the signature Monkey burger--the first thing came to my mind was, I should recommend it on Tripadvisor to everyone online. Overwhelmingly big, yet still manage pack a hit in terms of my taste--quality! You won't forget you're actually enjoying the burger in Italy when you bite on the specially fried mozzarella cheese inside. And of course, they have a great selection of tasty beer which made me came all the way from Rome for two more times in the trip! If you are in the Abruzzo or Lazio area and craving a burger but donât have time to sit down, head to their bar take out for a quick bite! Forget about Burger King!I learned the real meaning of the Italian word Modà from Monkey's decoration and atmosphere. Awesome food, close to piazza, friendly owners, very hot waitresses and amazing price.

We tried here a couple of times because we're visiting a language school regularly that is close by. I wish there were a 'good' rating between average and very good because that's how I would rate it.It's pretty good and we'll continue to use it out of convenience, but it is hard to see how this is #1 in Teramo. It does however look like it might be great fun late on a Friday night! It appears to host live music regularly, and be more of a 'night scene', maybe we'll wander down one Friday.The layout is good, the décor modern, but I'm afraid the 'Blanc' in Montblanc café is more Grigio! Not sure how old it is but it could do with a spruce up....The coffee is good, the service too, so we'll certainly continue to use it.Also they provide a loyalty card for returning customers...oops lost mine.No outdoor seating.Dear Gillande,Considerando che frequentate una scuola di lingua, mi permetto di rispondere in Italiano!Grazie per la vs recensione e speriamo che abbiate l'occasione di frequentare il ns locale più spesso e anche durante le serate di musica. Great coffee, friendly staff, speaks English and is very gentile. Internet is not needed for the nice ambiance. The name suits the place very well.
