We went there for lunch various times. The service is excellent and fast. Le ragazze sono molto gentile. I can especially recommend the "insalata Salero" but also their rice and Pasta dishes are very tasty and they serve Pizza as well. Whenever we visit il Lago d'Orta we make sure to stop at Salero 16.

The place is big even have a parking space , some tables and chairs to seat at the front of the restaurant or at the terrace at the back. Also along the restaurant, food was okay, the service was really nice, he was so polite and helpful.Bad part toilets don't have toilet roll :(The decoration of the pub is very original

We sat here and watched the world go by. Not expensive. They brought pastries and crisps to go with our wine free of charge. Lovely view. Would really recommend.

Home made cooking, excellent prices and a cosy little dining room make this location a great experience. The staff speaks only Italian, so adapt. It's not a luxurious restaurant, and that is exactly what we wanted. Simply good food, freshly prepared and the best calzone I've ever had

After reading the different reviews, thought we must give this place a go. Itâs true, the outside of the building is nothing special but the restaurant inside is beautifully decorated. Staff were very friendly and very patient with our limited Italian. The menu of the day was read to us and we also had no idea on the price! However, the 3 course meal was lovely and very tasty and the price was good value (approx 25 euros per person including drinks), would definitely recommend. Thankyou so much for your review, we hope to welcome you one more time.

We had a lovely snack lunch here a couple of times and really enjoyed the local ham and cheese on offer. We also visited a couple of times for an aperitif before dinner or a liqueur afterwards. The owner was very friendly and clearly very knowledgeable about the wines etc he had to offer. They also do a very nice Aperol spritz! Highly recommended.
