walkin to Palenque ruins thru the national park came to the sign with Bamboo. since I love bamboo we walked in. nice setting and relaxed place. good Chiapas coffee too. the jungle area very pretty. worth a stop

We were GRANDPAcking in El Panchan for 7 days.We ate most of our breakfasts at Chely's.They advertise 50% off Breakfasts ... the reality is that at full price they would be more expensive than Don Muchos (next door) - at 50% off, they are just a bit cheaper.Don Muchos is a nicer restaurant so Chely's should be doing 50% as their standard price!Having said that, they had a couple of good breakfasts on the menu at 50%.Their coffee was so weak and watery that we would eat breakfast at Chely's and, then, pop around to Don Muchos for coffee :-)Hello,Scambled eggs with beanes, rice ot toast for 15 Pesos. You even won't find this in any other restaurant for 30...Sorry for the coffee - our espresso machine is from time to time a real diva - we're working on it ;)

We all had some sort of seafood tacos and they were all great. But the best ones were shrimp tacos. Also the staff is really friendly and helpful. Great food, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Prepared fresh and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Good old western standards and a delicious variety of Mexican and Yucatecan foods. Cafe Jade is one of the recommended restaurants in the Cañada area of Palenque. Couldnât figure out why it was so full except that there arenât many other options that are any better. Food is ok. I had a decent vegetable tomato soup. Guacamole was plentiful but bland...a little hot sauce helped. Enchiladas with mushrooms & chipoline were good but a bit soggy on the bottom.
