We called in here for a cold drink after a walk around the marina. Itâs an odd sort of place. Fantastic views but poor service, awful house wine and, wait for it, squat toilets. I couldnât believe that a modern place like this would offer only squat toilets. Yes, they were once the norm in many places in France, Italy, Croatia etc but I havenât seen these for 20 years. Seemed very out of place. As did the very busy bingo hall. All in all a bit of a surreal experience that I wouldnât recommend.

This is on the main street of Lovere and we were there when all the schools emptied so it was great people watching time. The food was good and I had a really good salad - fresh, varied and large! My friends had a variety of things all of which were tasty too.

In my opinion this café serves the best coffee in town. In other places, I've found the coffee too bitter and astringent, whilst in Café Caprini it's mellow and nicely roasted. My lactose-intolerant partner found the soya cappuccino very good too.This Café doesn't have a lake view, but it's worth visiting not only because of the great coffee, but also for the tasteful decor and the kindness of the staff. I have just seen, reading other reviews here, that they also make their own fresh juices... that's something to look forward to for my next trip to Lovere.Keep up the good work!

This place was recommended by a family friend that lives in the area. The decoration is typical of an Italian circolo, however this place hide an amazing chef behind its walls. I visited the place 2 times within 2 weeks and both times I was gladly amazed. Typical cusine with large portions and high quality ingredients. Last time I've tried a Risotto al pesce persico which was outstanding. The only downside is not to have a menu therefore no clue on prices... however you will spend around 20-30⬠for a menu, coffee and drinks included

We visited 2 times for desserts in the middle of September. The staff was young and friendly. The drinks were very good, so were the desserts. Wonderful place!

One of the best pizza ever. The pub is very nice, old style, it's underground and close the the old city. The staff is nice and very kind. Pizza is simply amazing, very good, the taste, the flavour, the ingredients are fresh. You can find more than 250 different beers too.
