We had lunch here during our meeting with partner schools, after walking uphill we arrived at a lace with a great view and they seated us in the upper room of the restaurant, overlooking the area. They served us a risotto with courgettes, for me the best risotto I have ever had, creamy, light and tasteful. The other food we had was also of excellent standard. When I'm around Pisogne again I definitely will eat here again.

Arrived in Lovere at lunchtime on a tour directly from Linate Airport. We wandered along the front and this Bar looked inviting so we stopped in for a couple of wines. Prices were reasonable (â¬3 small glass) and it was nice by the lakeside watching the people stroll by for an hour. The red wine (Assolo?) was tasty.

The food's the thing here. It is a small and unprepossessing place. At the back it is almost like an informal family dining area, the front stark and modern. Compared to other restaurants in the town the price is just a little over the average but not much and still very reasonable. All dishes that our party of six tried were super, flavourful and imaginative. Michelin accreditation attests to this. It is a family establishment and the owner (?) waiter was helpful and charming. Although he professed to speak little English, he improved continually as the evening progressed. We think it was his wife or Mama in the kitchen. This is a place for a lovely meal that is different and of high standard without breaking the bank.

Osteria con cucina tradizionale e innovativa con piatti che vanno dal pesce di lago passando a vari tipi di carne ( tipo tagliata di canguro) e tornando al pesce di mare. I piatti sono tutti espressi quindi preparati e cotti al momento, le paste e ravioli

We have been here for lunch, and we were told it was quite late to order a la carte (it was 2 pm), so we went for the daily menu and... What a surprise! Two courses (Primo and Secondo), water, half liter wine and espresso for 20â¬, total for two people! The pasta was super and the octopus salad was delicious... We couldn't choose any better... We will definitely come back next time!

We had 2 evening meals and 3 breakfasts here during our 3 night stay. This place has great views over Lake Iseo and a large outside terrace. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Food was OK , nothing special. The Restaurant is used by lots of locals as well as guests. Drinks are reasonably priced. Tuesday evening end of June , so moderately busy but service was still haphazard ! The scallops stated" no 4 "on the menu and the pictures confirm this but we only got 2 each so that was a rip off at 10 euros each starter portion. They were under Cooked and over covered in garlic breadcrumbs but not much cheese in sight. Hardly "au gratin". Very disappointing. Main courses were brought at intervals. My pasta with salmon and my friend's monkfish came first followed some 5 minutes later by the pizzas for our husbands. Calzone was bland and not full to the edges, pepperoni pizza saved the day !!! Not what we expected ! We were looking for a better standard of food and service and left feeling a bit put out after a 100 euro bill for a basic pasta/ pizza meal. We are not fussy by any standards but this experience did not live up to the recommendations on trip advisor.

Outstanding seafood on a lake in Lombardy.The small restaurant is located right in front of the lake, on the north side of Lovere.Warm and friendly atmosphere, informal.Seafood and fish come from selected farms and fish markets in the Mediterranean Sea, most from Italy (Sicily, Sardinia, etc.)Raw seafood is worth the price you pay.Strongly recommended!

We chanced upon this restaurant wandering the back streets and, being lunch time and hungry, were struck by the good looking menu. Inside a very friendly waitress greeted us and served some of the best pizzas ever. They arrived promptly and were extremely light and tasty. If you only have one pizza on your Italian visit, make it here.

We had a lovely dinner here. Since it is located right near the marina, the view is superb. The staff is very helpful although their English is limited. The food is exceptional and the setting is lovely. We spent 100 euro on a dinner for 2 (we had only a half bottle of wine). It is on the high side of things, but the food is prepared with great care and the service is excellent.

We loved the place from start to finish. The ox ravioli was fantastic. We had steak as well that was brought out with 3 different gourmet salts, one had a smoke flavor that was so good we asked to see the package so we could buy some on our own. Another salt was large white flakes that also had a great flavor.thank you so much, hope to see you soon
