Always worth a visit. I even drive all the way from Frankfurt (20 km) away to have an easy parking, nice and quite, but home feeling atmosphere, accompanied with fantastic food, drinks and friendly staff. I simply love it. Give it a try

On holiday, I love places that are not 'touristy', a place where the locals go. Genusserie is such a place. It is warm, inviting and run by an exciting young couple who host you as if it were their home. Alexandra (Alex) takes care of your standard drinks orders and food (meze style cuisine) while Tim prepares the most unbelievable cocktails.Their cocktail selection is simply out of this world. I counted over 80 different rum cocktails and there were several other sections too! As it is, their rum selection includes over 250 different types!It is a short trip outside of Frankfurt (20min by train). Taxi may be more expensive, depending on where you stay. It is well worth it. You can also look them up on Facebook.

On a recent business trip, our group (approximately 40 people) dined at Alte Scheune for a casual dinner. The food was wonderful as was the service. No one in our group ever had an empty wine glass or had to ask for anything. The servers were always right there with everything needed. We dined on salad, cordon bleu (pork)/steak and dessert. The french fries served with the meal were amazing! The atmosphere was cozy, friendly and quaint. A delightful dining experience!
