Definitively the best restaurant in Boca del Rio, not only for it's excellent food, but also for the great atmosphere in the afternoon (relax), and at night (great music selection). Wide variety of food, every thing tasty!

I've been wanting to try the Asadero Cien Boca for over a month, but everytime I'm in the plaza the restaurant is full and there is a long line. I finally got a break and was able to get a table without waiting on a Friday afternoon. It's easy to see why they are always full. The menu choices are plentiful and it was very difficult to decide what to order. We ended up ordering arrachera for 2 and a salad. The portions were very generous and could have easily fed 3 people. Overall, the service was good and the food was great.

I've gone to the Wings Army here in Veracruz a few times now. Most recently in February. It's a fun atmosphere in a modern plaza. Since the name is 'Wing's' Army, I chose to order the Wings. The wings are tasty, but the portions are small. Some wings restaurants serve by net weight rather than piece count. Wings Army serves by piece count and each time I've gone, the pieces have been small. I would avoid the onion rings. They use frozen onion rings, for the price, you're better off buying your onion rings at a fast food place. My wife ordered a cheeseburger. She was disappointed to find that it was not fully cooked. I don't really recommend ordering a hamburger in a Wings restaurant, but unless some requests a medium cooked burger, (also not recommended) they should thoroughly cook the meat. The best part of Wings Army is the beer selection. They have a beer menu with many imported beers from other parts of Mexico, as well as, other countries. If you want to drink a micro brew style beer, this is where to go.

My friend and I stopped by here for some late night drinks and ordered an appetizer also. I found this place very good for that. I couldn't see it as a place I would take someone out to dinner. The cocktails are excellent and the wings were also. It has a sports bar type of feel with TVs in sight. Most of the seating was upstairs. There really isn't much of an atmosphere downstairs or at least there wasn't the night I went. I would recommend this place if you are interested in having drinks and a light snack(appetizer) in the evening. Happy Travels!!!!
