We traveled with Mexico Sub to Puerto Lobos and stayed at their recently renovated hotel camp in Puerto Lobos. We had a great time. They are great hosts and take care of every small detail. The scuba team is great. We felt very well taken care at all times.

Museo Naval Mexico

This museum documents the history of Mexico's navy.

Reviewed By Shaw143 - Ottawa, Canada

The curators have made a real effort to portray the naval museum as part of an ocean going experience. The lighting and exhibits are "watery" and well-presented. There is no English, but Google translator and I managed to understand most of the exhibits. English is not really necessary, since the museum is mostly visual.

La Josefina

There are multiple locations around the Historic area. They do not all sell the same items. Picked up some pastry bags and decorating tips for home at a fraction of what I would have paid in the US! My husband speaks fluent Spanish so that was helpful in locating what I needed. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Museo Teodoro Cano

Reviewed By SarahMZ - Cheney, Washington, United States

Teodoro Cano worked with and was influenced by Diego Rivera, but is a wonderfully talented and versatile artist in his own right and with his own style, and deserves much more recognition than he seems to get internationally. This little museum has a good number of his paintings, which are detailed and bursting with life, as well as sculptures. It also has historic photos, a display of traditional costumes, and works by other artists.
Very well worth a visit! Admission is by suggested donation.

Alboa

Visitors can tour this impressive fort, which Hernán Cortés built to deter pirate attacks.

Reviewed By Thrillhouse73 - Truro, Canada

This place was really cool. So much history, you could almost feel yourself transported back into the past. It honestly felt like a movie backdrop of a POTC movie.
Please watch your children. There are no railings or safety warnings, which although it gives you an authentic feel, can make it dangerous for wee ones..... including adults.

Nice attraction for the kids.
Lots of fish and sea life to see, even dolphin show daily.
During our visit there was no dolphin show, but our kids have seen so many dolphins in their life so they were not really dissapointed.
Interesting and educational for youngsters.
