This café is situated by lovely parklands and rose gardens. It is lovely on a sunny day. You can sit outside overlooking the pond and people watch or relax watching the ducks and the occasional fish jumping. The waitresses were very pleasant. I enjoyed the coffee and cakes but this place is more about the location than its food

We stayed in Baden for two nights and very glad to find this very pleasant establishment open on a Monday night. It is clearly popular with locals but the owner made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. Excellent salad buffet to enjoy while you wait for your food. Very good local wine selection served with knowledge and care. Typical large portions which we could not finish but we still found room for their home made strudel. Recommended.

We had lunch at this very charming Restaurant- choosing an outside table - as it was a very hot day I ordered a Chilled Cucumber soup with Dill and River Garnellen, excellent- the others in the party all had Backhendl Salad which was also very good - a Marillen Knoedel was a Good ending- the service was friendly and efficient- all in all a very good experience

A bit outside the trodden paths, situated in the Dornau hamlet of Leobersdorf and even most GPS systems can't properly locate the address... The Kunstmühle restaurant is set in old farm buildings right next to its erstwhile chateau domain (known as Gut Dornau) and gets its fish fresh from there. And the chef knows fish... and prepares it a no frills no nonsense kind of way, do not expect fancy tidbits artfully arranged on designer plates here. Our favourites are the local lake Saibling or else salmon trout. Excellent rainbow trout is almost always on the menu too of course.Secret tip for fish lovers: on Friday mornings, entry to the fishmonger situated in the buildings of the "Gut" is open for the general public. Enter through the gates into the beautiful park, watch live fish still swimming in its tanks, line up(!) and buy fish at the counter.

we visited this restaurants in november 2017. it is the poorest service which I have ever seen in the world. We waited for order nearly 40 minutes - with no reaction. Then I came to waiter and asked him to make order - then he made it. How poor is the owner of restaurant when he does not know whats happening there....I will never go there again although meals were OK... The cafe is very centrally located. A good place to people watch, even in winter. Average Austria price. In addition to coffee and sweets, a good place to have some small and cheap lunch. The service style is very much Viennese style, very efficient and effective, but don't expect a smile. Ok, maybe it's just a little warmer than in Vienna. This is a holiday town after all.
