Spezialitaten Bei Luu

Kham Sushi Bar

Reviewed By Dinenthal

Visited with my wife who is originally from Würzburg and my in-laws, on their recommendation. We were greeted by the owner, who is a very nice gentleman. He speaks good English too. The chef is a genuine sushi master, who effortlessly creates wonderful fresh sushi at incredible speed. I had a chilli and ginger soup to start, ingredients were fresh and we'll prepared. And then I had a plate of mixed sushi. I have to say that the food was excellent, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented and garnished, and of course super tasty. The restaurant is clean and tidy, and clearly in good repair. The food prices are value for money and at lunchtime you can have a all you can eat option. I would happily recommend this restaurant and look forward to eating there again.

Madame Nguyen

Reviewed By faeimmmario

We were in town visiting friends the week Madame Nguyen opened its doors in Würzburg's "Pleichviertel", right around the corner from its affiliated restaurant Mai Sushi (the owner is the daughter of the owner of Mai Sushi).Service is friendly and efficient, and our food order was served within 30 minutes. The flavors are authentic - the "Gỏi cuốn" (summer rolls, €5,50) were filled with fresh crunchy herbs and vegetables, the "Nom Bò" (grilled beef salad, €6,50) was fragrant and appetizing. We would have liked to try their "Bánh Cuốn" (steamed rice flour crepes) as well, but they were sold out.We ordered our standard litmus-test dish - "Phở Bò" (€10,90). Madame Nguyen's bowl comes with a small side of fresh greens, the noodles swimming in an tasty broth which needed no further embellishment. Test passed! There is a nice variety of beverages - specialty iced teas average around €5 each, and cocktails around €7. Desserts look delicious, but we didn't have time to linger. Our friends tell us that by Würzburg's standards, Madame Nguyen would likely be one of the top 10 restaurants. Well then, we look forward to trying more Vietnamese classics the next time we're in town!
