We had lunch here once. Food was average, catering mainly for tourists. Portions were small, which makes the dishes moderately pricey, but to be expected since food has to be brought in from the mainland.

This place is great and so are the people who run the place. It’s off the beaten track towards the back of Sunrise beach. Definitely worth a visit. Lots of very tasty vegetarian food, and there are a few meat dishes to choose from if you’re not veggie.

My wife and I have been traveling south on the Thai islands of Krabi, Lanta, Ngai, Mook, and finally Lipe for the last two weeks. We have eaten three Thai meals a day for almost a month.So when I tell you Ton Kow is the real deal... believe me. The food was fresh, hot, and really really good. The atmosphere is very clean and bright. And a really good mix of local Thais and Westerners.The prices are reasonable. The service is good. Don’t have a second thought. Eat at Ton Kow!!!

Love this place it’s pretty nice location and love umbrellas putting in indoor it’s a great idea! Staff it’s attentive and helpful if improve more more professional Burmese when they serve Asian don’t be shy and be professional that all it’s perfect! Food presentation it’s nice and yummy!

My partner and I came here for dinner on our last night in Thailand and it was the perfect place to spend the evening. The restaurant is tucked away at the end of the beach and has the most beautiful view looking out to the sea. The food is absolutely excellent, highly recommend the Penang curry which was the best I have tasted in Thailand. More expensive than other places but worth it if you’re wanting to go somewhere special. My only slight criticism is that the food came out very quickly which isn’t usually a bad thing but it meant our meal was over quickly and we would have liked to spend a bit longer.

Decent enough not place but on our second time visiting as I walked into the bar with my 3 year old daughter the owners English Bull Terrier tried to bite her. Why have a dog of this nature freely walking around the bar area? Had I not been close enough to pick her up away from the dog I dread to what would have happened. Whilst the owner was apologetic we never returned and I would warm another other families with children to be aware. Get rid of that dog before something terrible happens!

Cheap, authentic and tasty Thai food, we ate here 5 times on our trip to Koh Lipe. It is much cheaper than a lot of the restaurants on the beach (Eg. Stir fry 90 baht, curry 100 baht, pad Thai 100 baht) and the portion size is great. We were never left hungry. The menu has lots of options for vegetarians and many of these can be altered to be made vegan. We tried lots of the menu. Our favourites were the spicy basil noodles, mango sticky rice, Thai iced tea and the garlic and pepper stir fry. They were happy to make our iced tea with coconut milk - it comes in a pint glass as well! Beautiful view, service is quick and staff are friendly. Wish I was still there to try more of the menu.

Bombay Indian Restaurant makes up for the lack of vegan food on Koh Lipe island (and then some!). Not only do they have loads of vegan options, but the owner will also tailor dishes of the menu to make them vegan, especially for you. It's not on the main street, but their delicious food, and lovely staff it's well worth the extra walk (only about 5-minute extra mind you)!!

I was recommended by a friend to have dinner at this restaurant. So my girlfriend and I took his advice. There was only myself and one of the table there as it was off-season. The food was excellent but extremely expensive compared to other restaurants on the island. Service was good and friendly. Could I go back there again? Probably not at those prices but if more reasonable then yes because the food was nice. During the day I’m sure the view is excellent but we were there at night so you couldn’t see anything.
