Have visited many times but this was the first visit for more than a year. Nothing has changed the welcome is as warm as ever, the service is very good and the food is the star of the show. If you like spice then you are in for a treat with multiple subtle flavours and plenty of heat.We had the mixed starter which really gives you a great chance to experience many different tastes and flavours on Malaysia, certainly something for everyone. The 4 different main courses were all shared and enjoyed by all of us with the duck and chicken dishes a stand out plates. If you are coming from the city it is a bit of a trek or taxi ride but every time we have done this it has proved to be a really worthwhile experience. I tried the place after searching for a descent Thai restaurant on TripAdvisor. I think the reviews do it justice. The dishes look good, are descent in size and have good flavors. If you like your food spicy the 3 peper chicken curry was spicy enough not to be disappointed.

Nothing beats getting out of the cold in Munich and into the small and cosy Longgrain Thai. Best book as this place is very popular. Fast and friendly service with a great ambience. You can watch the the Thai Chefs prepare meals while you sip on a cocktail. If you love hot and spicy then this is it and is definitely one of my favourites.

Returning is sometimes making mistakes. In that case the mistake was not mine, but the Chef. The famous light transparent ravioli are not served for lunch but only for dinner. Insisting I could order. Very disappointing, dough was thick, filling was without any taste. The service was unfriendly, the whole lunch (4 people) very uninteresting and the babies too loud.

We went here before going to the BMW factory tour. The restaurant is just 10 min walk from BMW on a quiet street. Nice outdoor seating and very fast service. Several lunch dishes to choose from for only 7-8â¬. It tasted just great! Can definitely recommend.

Honghong is a Chinese restaurant, NOT a Thai restaurant!Come on, there are essential differences!Pros: very very reasonable price! Almost unbeatable!very very good portions! I need to pack leftovers every time!Some decent food! My favourite å¤é é¸ (duck in beer sauce)Cons:Food quality is too volatile -_- sometimes too salty A few times, meat was tasted sour.One advice: it's better to ask the waitress/waiter for recommendations.It is NOT a place for adventure.

For a TA ranking of #21 of 3,152 Restaurants in Munich, had such high expectations. Looks nice and cosy, but food quality and taste - below any other Asian ever experienced in Munich. Lack of taste in actually everything we ordered. Service, - OK, nothing to write home about. But overall, for any price level it is below average. Will not be back there.

We liked it very much, it tasted all fresh. Even my young daughter like it and she doesn't enjoy sushi usually. But we did not take the "Mittagsmenu", so I do not know if the quality is the same.The personal is very nice.It is a small place, so I guess it can get crowded.We are pleased to hear that you and your family like our food. Food was different than what I expected (ordered a familiar dish as was out with clients), but it was a pleasant surprise! Quality of food seemed excellent. Spices were rich and exceedingly tasty.Atmosphere was good, if a little quiet. So relaxing, in fact, that we hung out there for a few more beers after the meal....Very enjoyable, would highly recommend. Very close to 5 stars!

Great little Thai restaurant serving very fresh tasty food.We went early on a Friday night and had the restaurant to ourselves for a while. The service was very relaxed, which I like, although we had to converse with the waiters in German. We ordered a few different starters and 2 chicken main dishes, all of which was very good. The yellow Thai curry that I had tasted very fresh with all the sliced al-dente vegetables. Additionally it was very reasonably priced! Will definitely be visiting again soon. They also do take-out which seemed quite popular.
