Had a very tasty meal here on a Saturday evening. Service was very friendly and attentive and food was excellent and all cooked to order (can say how spicy you want it). Outside it's not the most appealing-looking place but don't be put off - good inside and well worth a visit. Had a lovely evening and would certainly go back. As you say, everything is cooked exactly to order and if the dish is a spicy one, we try to adapt the level to your taste.We were a little puzzled that you didn't find the exterior of the restaurant appealing (there are some very out-of-date photos on Trip Advisor!). It's possible that we'd taken down our famous pink parasols when you came and perhaps reduced the lighting. We're sorry if that was the case; but the main thing is that you very much liked the food and service. We hope you'll come again. Best wishes from all of us.

This place has gone completely downhill since it was taken over. The service was absolutely appalling. None of the staff showed any sign of any charisma. Service was slow and plates etc were put down clumsily as if staff had received no training. The food itself was disappointing, onion bhaji was greasy, curry lacked flavour and was cold by the time it was served. I would have complained but nobody bothered to come and ask. The elder gentleman (presumably the owner) spent most of the evening standing on the higher level floor staring at the diners & staff. I felt very uncomfortable about being stared at but when we were leaving and weâre gathering our group my the door he came over, I thought that was a nice gesture but I was wrong, he walked past us all and out the door without even so much as a âgood eveningâ to our group who had just spent over £300! The decor is tired and no effort has been made sin even it changed hands. The lighting was too bright and the place had no ambience at all. Donât waste your time or money. There are plenty of other places to choose from in Hastings.

In the area for a few days over new year and saw this on TA.We love chinese and wanted to introduce our little ones to dim sum and something other than âfried riceâ etc..Did not disappoint.. all the dim sum - both steamed and fried were delicious and the accompanying dishes were also excellent.The team and staff were very friendly and clearly loved what they do.In the words of my 9 year old son.. âI would give it a 6 if I couldâHighly recommended Thank you

We always use Curyz, they are simply the best, that man complaining about chicken korma must have that confused with somewhere else. This is one of the nicest Indian restaurants Iâve ever been to in the Uk. Service was friendly but laid back. I chose the chicken kolhapuri from the specials menu with vegetable rice and a Peshawarâs naan. Everything was excellent. Very tasty indeed and quite spicy. My waiter said they collect the best recipes from all different regions in India to present a varied menu. It was great

Fantastic food. Lovely attentive waiters. Plenty of choice for vegans and vegetarians. The food was so fresh and you could taste the ingredients - fresh slithers of ginger, pieces of garlic, coriander - absolutely gorgeous. Definitely recommend.

Lovely welcoming,friendly people. Fantastic food. I have tried quite a few restaurants in St Leonards and none come close to Remys. We had the Tapas on a Thursday evening, great choice for all tastes,vegetarian, meat and fish dishes. Superb. Beautiful original decor too.
