We went here once, it is very basic, good food with large portions, also serves some Kenyan dishes.Very cheap to eat there, we were the only people there so had privacy, they do their best to please you.

Swahili Pot is on the main road from Diani Town into the beach area.It is an outdoor restaurant, and service is astonishingly good. The food came very quickly.We ordered coconut fish, rice, beans, and vegetables. Swahili cuisine is known for its fish in coconut sauce, and Swahili Pot has very good samaki wa naazi. The bread was hot and soft, the vegetables (like spinach) were very tasty.There were many cats around, but none of them were causing any trouble for us. In addition, the environment is quite relaxed and casual, away from the busy main road. The cost we found to be reasonable, although not as reasonable as delicious Mombasa street food.Everyone needs to try Swahili cuisine, and this is one great spot to do it. Highly recommended that you get to Swahili Pot yesterday.

Had a delicious meal here - we shared a chicken palau and chicken curry with chapati. Both the curry and palau were delicious, with generous portions and lots of chicken. Service was efficient. The flies here were something else though. There are so many to the point it interrupts even conversation.Make sure you sit under one of the ceiling fans.

Service 10/10Setting 10/10Croissant 10/10Coffee 3/10 Watered down coffee and single serving sachets of Nescafé are sadly the norm in most of Kenya. But this place is too good to serve such weak tasteless Americanos. I know I could have ordered an expresso. But unfortunately I probably wonât go back here for a coffee. The girl serving was excellent. First on behalf of Jazzy Bakery we are sorry you did not enjoy your coffee. We have used our own blend of Kenyan beans since we have opened and never a complaint about our coffee. We hope you can return and choose a coffee of your choice and a slice of black forest cake on us! Once again we are sorry.

My wife and I ate here a couple of times during our resent stay in Diani. The lobster dish is overwhelming and we loved it so much. 1500 KES for two fat lobsters with trimmings is hard to beat. It was juicy and succulent. We will be back!

Visited your new restaurant at 12:30 and non of the meals were ready so we ordered breakfast food which was tasty. The waiter was very annoying and flirtatious . Good place but needs much improvement in customer service. I will definitely be back because the Swahili dishes are delicious

Excellent lunch here - we shared a chicken coconut masala dish with chicken pilau and ugali. The chicken masala dish was filled with flavour with plenty of chicken for both of us. Service was a highlight - polite, friendly and efficient! All in a semi outdoor, traditional setting!
