The wines, the generous tasting, the friendliness and helpfulness of all of the staff. We didn't have anything to eat.Platters, three different types I believe are offered. Give yourself time to enjoy the wines, the food and the setting. At the moment, this is an outdoor fascillity. The drive to the farm via the R326 is beautiful. A really worthwhile Wine Farm to call in to and enjoy being out of doors. We all enjoyed every moment. You pay for the tasting (not expensive) but the tasting fee comes off when you buy wines.

We had booked the wine tasting for a group of 10 as it is a wine farm that only does wine tastings by appointment. What a treat we had! The owner of the wine farm’s wife, Junel, who is a Cape Wine Master gave us a tour of the cellars with detailed description of the various types of tanks & method of pressing the grapes. We then had a tasting of 16 wines with “flights” of 3/4 wines of various varieties- chenin, Chardonnay, Shiraz & pinotage. The wines were delicious & the information shared by Junel was fantastic. Wine tasting ended with us finishing off the MCC Bubbles! Need to book in advance but we’ll worth it.

De Wet Cellar

De Wet Cellar was founded on 15 April 1946 and is the oldest cellar in the Worcester area. Originally, it produced about 3 000 tons of gapes annually, but over the years it has developed into a quality cellar processing around 19 000 tons annually. The main focus of De Wet Cellar is to over deliver on quality, thus creating a product that markets itself.
